Instructor: The introduction was very professional, and the instructor takes lots of photos and videos! Safety: The instructor stays with you the entire time, constantly monitoring your situation, and you can ask questions if you have any issues.
Snorkeling at Silfra was incredible—floating between two continents in crystal-clear glacial water is surreal. The guide was professional, the dry suits kept us warm, and the views were unforgettable. A bit pricey, but absolutely worth it.
what a wonderful experience. swimming between fissures in cold cold water. photos are taken by the friendly guide
amazing experience swimming in two degrees water in the silfra fissure. James was very knowledgeable and patient
It was pretty good! The flow of people at the site was very smooth, and before getting into the water, they briefly explained the swimming route. The guide initially said that if you got tired, you could rest, and verbally told us which areas we couldn't go into (because they were too deep). I thought it would be fine to just follow the guide, but he barely stopped, so if you don't keep up with him, you'll fall behind. You pretty much have to keep swimming until you reach a crevice where he'll take a photo for you, and then you'll loop back to another landing point. It's about a 1.5-hour swim with few breaks. Once you get out, they give you an energy bar and hot chocolate. The guide was very nice. If I had more stamina, I would have enjoyed it even more! Also, one of my companions had water get into their drysuit and was very cold halfway through the swim, so if possible, remember to bring an extra change of clothes and some cold medicine.
Anna Coach enthusiastically introduced the precautions and took us to experience fissure snorkeling. I would recommend it to my friends. Thank you very much 😊
