Hotels a prop de Sapporo Hitsujigaoka Observation Hill

Although it's an older hotel, everything was good overall. The service and breakfast were excellent. It truly lives up to its reputation as a hotel where the Emperor once stayed. It will be closing next year for major renovations, so we came to stay. This is also one of the settings from my first love.

Service, Cleanliness, and Facilities: The room was spacious, the underground parking lot was large, and the cleaning service was incredibly thoughtful. The hotel also has a public bath and a large, fantastic gym! Hotel Location: It's within walking distance to Tanukikoji Shopping Street for shopping and dining! On the second day, we visited Ranshima Beach and Otaru Canal early in the morning, which were absolutely beautiful! The seafood donburi and melon at Sankaku Market were incredibly delicious. My family and I had a wonderful first-time two-day experience in Sapporo!

The location is right next to Tanukikoji Arcade, which is great for evening entertainment and dining, and the airport bus stop is just across the street. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are clean. However, the cushions on the sofa and bed were worn out, which made them uncomfortable. I had high hopes for breakfast, and it was nice to be able to eat plenty of sashimi in the morning, but aside from a few items, most of the fish was cheap, frozen quality. The tuna was decent about half the time.

very good location! walkable distance to alot of places and attractions. Just that the lift will always stop at level 2 which is the reception/lobby level. Will come back to stay in this hotel the next time 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We love how clean and pretty the hotel is and how accessible and close it is to downtown, transportation like bus stops, train station and all establishments. The hotel staffs are very accomodating, approachable and polite.

L'habitació té rentadora, la qual cosa és molt convenient. El personal és molt amable i ofereixen una beguda gratuïta al dia. No obstant això, no hi ha aigua potable gratuïta a l'habitació; cal portar una ampolla pròpia per omplir-la al vestíbul de la planta baixa o comprar-ne a fora. Està a prop de la sortida 34 de l'estació Odori, però no hi ha ascensor. L'autobús de l'aeroport és a uns 7-8 minuts a peu, i queda a prop del carrer comercial Tanukikoji 2 i del mercat Nijo.

We booked this hotel because of the microwave & washer in our room. To our surprise the room is equipped with more then we could ask for. The staff are all really friendly and ready to help! We have no issue with the room size, as we chose Residential Twin of 23M2 (we even have 3 sinks in this room). Breakfast is great with fresh ingredients, one of the best bread, bread rolls, Hokkaido cream butter, scrambled eggs we had! We enjoyed the breakfast and free coffee at reception daily. Location is great with only 1 minute walk to the shopping alley with lots of food and shopping, especially everything you can find at 4 floors of Mega DonDon Donki too! Lots of food options around the area and walking Sapporo Station, Sapporo TV tower, Odori Park is a breeze! Highly recommended to stay here! Be quick, the rooms get fully booked very fast!

Transportation Access: Excellent. It's about a 5-minute walk straight to the subway station. Breakfast: Incredibly delicious! Every single item was so tasty it made me smile. The only downside was eating so much for breakfast that I had no room for lunch. It was also great that the breakfast options changed slightly between the first and second nights! I didn't get bored! By the way, the seafood bowl is a super tiny, one-bite portion. Even though it's small, it's incredibly delicious, so feel free to have as many as you like. I highly recommend making it into ochazuke (rice with tea). Cleanliness: Good. There were no particularly dusty areas. The bath and toilet are in the same room. It seems you can request cleaning if needed. Service: Average. There were only enough cups for the number of people in the room, so I wished there were more cups for tea, especially since there's a kettle and tea bags provided. Also, we didn't need it, but there might not be a safe. We couldn't find one even after everyone searched, though it's possible we just missed it. Bath towels and hand towels are replaced daily for each night's stay. There was no complimentary bottled water. There is a refrigerator. We stayed for two nights, and we didn't encounter any major issues, so I think it was fine. Hotel Location: Depends on what you prioritize. Susukino itself isn't particularly safe at night, so the safety aspect is just okay. There are often hosts or hostesses from clubs loitering in front of the entrance. However, it's close to the station, and as soon as you step outside, you're in the bar district, so it's very convenient. Don't worry, we weren't bothered by any touts. There were no problems walking around at night and returning from drinks. There were no photos of the hotel at all, so the two photos besides the food are from my trip to Otaru, haha.
