Siam Garden Cooking School, Chiang Mai

I had such a great time at Siam Garden Cooking School! The whole experience was fun from start to finish. We made several delicious Thai dishes that were easy to follow and tasted amazing. It was a great way to learn about Thai cooking while creating wonderful memories. One of the best parts was meeting so many friendly people from different countries and enjoying the meal together after cooking. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and patient, making everyone feel comfortable. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. It’s definitely one of the highlights of my trip!

this is my very first cooking class and absolutely love it. The service were very good, all the staff guide you how to cook all the menu. If you are new in cooking or even wants to join the class with kids, you don’t have to worry because it’s beginner friendly. Will definitely recommend this to my friends.

I enjoyed the experience. The course is well organised and is interesting for both the novice and the experienced home cook. The staff is friendly and professional, the rooms are very clean and the decor is warm and authentic. Highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Experience at Siam Cooking School We had such a lovely time at Siam Cooking School! The market tour was both enjoyable and very informative — a great way to learn about local ingredients. The school’s location is fantastic: airy, serene, and the perfect setting for a relaxed cooking day. The lady owner, Vony (Miss Beautiful), is not only talented but also very funny, and the whole team — Gift, Pear, and the other lovely girls (sorry I didn’t catch all the names!) — made the experience warm and fun. We cooked 6 delicious dishes, and it was the perfect activity on a rainy day. A small tip: if you're taking a Grab car to the meeting point on a rainy day, allow extra time for car availability and traffic to make sure you arrive on time. Booking through Klook was fast and easy, and the operator responded promptly to all messages. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chiang Mai!

I got picked up right on time from the meeting point and dropped back there after – super smooth ride! That day it was just the two of us in the class – basically a private lesson! Our teacher Gift was super sweet and helped us with everything. The whole staff was so friendly and welcoming. Honestly, I never thought I could cook Thai food this well – chef vibes unlocked! Such a fun experience, you really have to try it!

치앙마이에 오면 쿠킹클래스를 꼭 해보고싶었는데 좋은 경험이었어요! 엄마도 쿠킹클래스 안 했으면 후회할 뻔 했다고 좋아하셨어요. 신청하면 line이나 what's app으로 연락와서 호텔주소 물어보시는데 거기로 픽업 와주셔서 편했어요. 그리고 메신저 앱으로 한명씩 원하는 메뉴 미리 신청하면 되는데 같이 가는 사람 있으면 서로 다른 요리 해서 여러 메뉴 먹어보는것도 좋을거같아요! 에어컨 되는 승용차로 이동하고, 현지 시장 가서 과일 구경하는것도 재밌고 거기서 10-15분 정도 자유시간 주시는데 그 사이에 과일도 야무지게 사먹었어요 ㅎㅎ 도착해서는 다양한 허브랑 향신료 있는 정원 설명 해주셔서 흥미로웠고, 요리는 거의 준비되어있는 재료를 한번 더 손질하고 볶거나 끓이는 정도라 크게 어렵지않아서 좋았어요. 커리페이스트 만들기같은 절구 빻는거는 잘 못하면 옆에서 직원분들이 도와주시더라고요~ 총 두번에 나눠서 만든 요리를 중간에 나눠서 먹는데 에어컨 있는 방에서 먹을 수 있는게 좋았어요!! 엄마가 더운 날씨에 약해서 걱정했는데 에어컨 있는 방 최고에요! 시원한 물이랑 커피도 줘요! 나중에 식재료나 굿즈도 사갈 수 있는거같더라고요. 레시피는 나중에 홈페이지 가면 다시 볼 수 있다는데 오늘 만든 레시피 말고 다른 레시피랑 야채, 과일, 향신료, 소스 등등도 자세히 알려주시는 레시피북이라 나중에 집에서 만들어먹고싶을 때 엄청 도움될거같아요! 요리하느라 사진을 많이 찍지 못했는데 facebook이나 홈페이지에 올려주신다니까 다행이에요~! 오늘 친절하게 설명해 준 스태프 Cream이랑 Gift 감사해요~! 치앙마이에서 즐거운 추억 만들었어요 ㅎㅎ

It was a great time thanks to the very kind tour staff! Don't worry, and join the tour! The process of making food was fun and delicious. I like the unique scent of Thai food, and I was very happy to find the source of this taste! It tastes better now that I know what ingredients it's made of!

Gift 선생님과 보조해 주시는 May 선생님이 정말 친절하고 상세하게 태국 식재료와 시장에 대해 설명해 주십니다. 불 쓰는 과정이 있어 다소 걱정했는데 선생님들이 옆에서 지켜 봐 주시기 때문에 안전했습니다. 음식을 만들어 보고 먹으니 더욱 맛있었는데요, 다만 (저희에겐 너무 사랑스러웠지만) 강아지가 세 마리 있어요. 동물을 피하셔야 한다면 고려해보셔야 할 것 같습니다.

"Gift" 선생님이 너무 친절하게 알려주셨어요! 저희 호텔이랑 비슷한 곳에 예약자가 있어서 호텔 바로 근처에서 픽업해 주셨는데, 약 30분 가량 차량이동 후 Ruamchok 마켓에서 간단한 식재료에 대한 이야기를 듣고 한 바퀴 둘러볼 시간을 주십니다. 주중이어서인지 느긋하게 둘러볼 수 있어 좋았네요. 수업은 한국 정규교육을 받았다면 예스 노 헬로 못해도 다 진행 가능합니다. 보조해 주시는 분들이 친절하게 도와주십니다. 생각보다 재료도 미리 손질되어 있어서 칼질도 거의 “썰어 본다”수준으로 간단합니다.
