Shuhokaku Kogetsu is definitely one of the best hotels for viewing the inverted reflection of Mount Fuji on Lake Kawaguchiko. Even if the lake is too windy for a clear reflection, you can use the hotel's special small pond to capture the inverted Fuji. The hotel's service and food are also excellent. It's absolutely worth recommending!

The hotel just opened, so it's very new and clean, definitely worth staying at! Although it's not very big, it has everything you need in a compact space! Our family of four stayed in a room with four beds on two levels. The space wasn't huge, but it was clean and tidy. However, you can't stand upright when getting into the beds on the upper and lower levels, so sometimes you might accidentally bump your head. The bathtub is great for a soak. The staff were polite and very friendly. For breakfast, the main options were rice balls or hot dogs. Each serving came with two rice balls, which was too much for me to finish, so on the second day, I just asked for one to avoid waste. There were also many self-service food and drink options available, a very generous spread, and the breakfast area had a large screen showing a live view of Mount Fuji. Free parking is available, and if you're not driving, Fujisan Station is right next door! You can see Fuji-Q Highland amusement park from the room!

The hotel's mattress was very comfortable, and the public hot spring bath had the perfect water temperature, making for a very relaxing soak. I slept wonderfully afterward. The hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a room with a view, allowing us to see Mount Fuji from afar, but unfortunately, the weather wasn't good during those days, so we couldn't see the beautiful mountain scenery.

The hotel is close to Kawaguchiko station (15mins walk) and they provide free regular shittle bus from and to the station every 10mins so it is very convenient. Mt Fuji view is visible from the hotel too. Stayed for 2 nights and they also provide free breakfast. There is a Lawson nearby too. The room is just nice for 2 people, is clean and tidy. It is a nice stay!

The hotel has a free parking lot, making it convenient for self-driving. The rooms are clean and fully equipped with amenities, and there is a large public bath on the top floor. The only drawback was that on the last day, when heading to breakfast, we found that the room door would not lock and could be opened with just a turn of the handle without needing a key card. This wasn't an issue before, so it was likely not set properly after housekeeping on the second day. Security definitely needs improvement.

The hotel's location is excellent; you can see Mount Fuji from the window. It's near the Kawaguchiko scenic area, making it a relaxing place for a vacation. However, the room amenities only include a toothbrush and toothpaste, and there isn't even bottled water. I feel this aspect makes the value for money (CP ratio) low for the price.

মাউন্ট ফুজির দৃশ্য সহ সুন্দর হোটেল! ৪ জনের পরিবারের জন্য রুমটি উপযুক্ত ছিল। দৃশ্য সহ সকালের নাস্তা ভালো ছিল। কর্মীরা বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ এবং সহায়ক ছিলেন। হোটেলে ই-বাইক ভাড়ার জন্য ছিল যা আমরা আমাদের প্রথম দিনেই ব্যবহার করেছিলাম। বিছানা এবং টয়লেটও চমৎকার ছিল! অবশ্যই সুপারিশ করা হচ্ছে!👍👍👍

পরিষ্কার এবং প্রশস্ত। এখানে থাকতে ভালোবাসি। আরামদায়ক। নিজস্ব অনসেন সহ। ফুজি কিউ হাইল্যান্ডের সামনে। বাস স্টপ হোটেলের ঠিক সামনেই। ভালো বুফে লাঞ্চ।

So relaxing experience, we needed this after a week running through the subway, temples and neon lights in the cities. Staff is so welcoming and attentive, views from the lake are amazing, and the kaiseki dinner is great. Cheers to Aki who assisted us with the dinner. Baths are great to rest and recharge energy.
