    Undiscovered Gems

    1. Katong & Joo Chiat Food Tour

    katong joo chiat food tour
Culture and food go hand in hand when exploring the city. What better way to experience both than with an exciting food tour of Katong and Joo Chiat! The two historical districts are a must for any foodie visiting Singapore because of the variety of local dishes waiting to be discovered at every corner and the rich Peranakan heritage that lives on its streets.
The tour hops from one iconic eatery to another, with stops at restaurants like Kway Guan Huat Joo Chiat Popiah for their best-selling popiah skins (loved by locals since 1938!), Kim Choo Kueh Chang for their famed traditional rice dumplings, and more. Our favorite: the authentic Nyonya Kuehs made of glutinous rice, coconut milk, and palm sugar – they were sweet, colorful, and had us buying extra to enjoy after the tour!
Klook tip: Don’t forget to bring your camera along during the tour! Not only will you be able to take snapshots of the tasty local dishes, but you will also have sights like the vibrantly colored heritage shophouses of Katong as your backdrop.

    2. The Dragon’s Tooth: A Battle of Buildings in Singapore Walking Tour

dragon's tooth battle of the buildings singapore tour
Did you know that the art of Feng Shui has heavily influenced the urban planning and design of Singapore? Feng Shui has been used to make sure that buildings in the city not only complement one another to promote harmony and balance – to “offset” one another, specifically to enhance the flow of energy throughout the city. Talk about a literal battle of the buildings! Uncover those fascinating tidbits and the history of the architectural landmarks that fill up the Singapore skyline during this adventure on foot– a must-do for history buffs!
The Dragon’s Tooth: A Battle of Buildings in Singapore Tour takes you on an exploration of Orchard Road, Beach Road, and the Suntec area’s iconic buildings with a professional tour guide. Listen to cultural insights and stories on how the great Lion City was built, and even learn how to use a Feng Shui compass and chart. We give the tour plus points for the extra goodies you get to keep afterwards that include a special gift chart and Feng Shui charm!

    3. Tiger Beer Brewery Tour

    tiger brewery tour
Where are all our beer enthusiasts at? A tour of the famed home-grown Tiger Beer should definitely be on your list of to-do’s when in Singapore. Step foot into the home of the iconic beer brand and discover why Tiger Beer has been highly acclaimed internationally for over 80 years. Get an up-close look at how the beloved drink is processed, from brewing, storage, and even up until its packaging!
What brewery tour is complete without a taste of the beer? That’s right, the experience also includes a fun beer-tapping demonstration that had us tapping our very own beer, definitely one of the highlights of the visit. The tour ends with a stop at the Tiger Tavern, whose retro-style design and a wide assortment of the freshest beers from around the world had us and our friends hoping to book our next visit the soonest!
Guided tours run from 13:00-17:00, every Friday and Sunday. Can you bring kids along? Surprisingly, yes! Children aged 0-17 are allowed to join in on the fun, BUT must be accompanied by an adult at all times and are not allowed to drink any of the alcoholic beverages.

A missing journal plus an island filled with mysteries begging to be solved equals a thrilling day out of the city! Team up with five friends and sail to St John’s Island for an escape experience like no other. The 4-hour outdoor escape game will have you exploring St John’s for the cure to save mankind.
Aside from all the puzzles, you’ll also be able to gather interesting stories (and maybe even ghostly tales!) about the island throughout the game. We don’t wanna give away too much, but here’s a tip: remember to bring your trusty pen and paper or you may miss out on taking note of a clue or two!
Klook tip: Remember to bring your bottled water, snacks, and sunscreen! It can get hot on the island and you won’t find any shops there!

    5. Sky Helix

    skyhelix sentosa
Trying to find a one-of-a-kind view of Sentosa’s sights? If you’re looking to mix your sightseeing with a bit of thrill, the new SkyHelix Sentosa should be on the list! Opened last December, Singapore’s highest open-air panoramic ride lifts you 35 meters high and 79 meters above sea level for a 360-degree view of Sentosa, the Keppel Bay area, and the Southern Islands.
Our up in the air experience was leveled up further with the refreshments from the snack bar that we could enjoy during the ride. With a cold drink in one hand, feet dangling in the air, and awe-inspiring views of Sentosa, you could definitely say that it was a “flight” to remember!
Klook tip: Consider scheduling your visit at sundown to see the city and SkyHelix’s bright LED lights bring life to the night sky and Singapore’s skyline!

    6. River Wonders

Is there anyone who wouldn't be excited to visit Asia's first and only river-themed safari? Taking inspiration from the great rivers of the world like the Congo, Nile, Amazon, and more, the river-themed wildlife park takes you on an exciting journey through history and culture with the help of the animals and plantations from around the world.
We were super excited to see the loveable giant pandas, Jiajia and Kaikai at the Giant Panda Forest, and see the Indian Gharial, Shant, at the Ganges River Zone during our visit. If you’re lucky, you might even be able to catch the adorable panda cub Le Le when he’s out in the nursery. We highly recommend you don’t miss out on this new favorite during your Singapore adventure, especially for families traveling with little ones! River Wonders Singapore is open daily, from 10:00-19:00.

    7. Universal Studios Singapore

No trip to Singapore feels complete without a day of excitement and rides at Universal Studios Singapore. The famed Resorts World Sentosa theme park welcomes visitors of all ages to its heart-racing and family-friendly attractions based on Universal Studios’ movies and television shows. Thrillseekers should definitely check out the Jurassic Park Adventure and Battlestar Galactica ride for some adrenaline-pumping action!
Remember to set aside enough time to also check out the park’s numerous shows like WaterWorld™ or Donkey Live, a good idea when you’re looking to make the most of your day and still get some downtime.  You can check out USS’ official site for updated information on the park’s opening hours before your visit so you can properly work out your USS game plan! We recommend heading out on a weekday to avoid the big crowds and long queues of the weekends and holiday visits.
Klook tip: Pack extra clothes during your visit if you want to be able to sit in exciting wet zone sections for the Waterworld show or feel refreshed after the exciting Jurassic Park Adventure water ride.

    8. Singapore River Night Cruise with Dinner

    singapore river cruise with dinner
The Singapore River Cruise has always been a must-do activity for tourists looking to see the city’s iconic sights and attractions. Why not elevate the usual cruise and add dinner and a guided walking tour for a complete city experience package during your visit?
The memorable night out starts off with a delicious steamed seafood dinner at Boat Quay, the historical quay in the city located upstream from the mouth of the Singapore River. Our seafood cravings were totally satisfied by the Boston Lobster Pao Fan and Fresh Abalone served during the dinner. Afterward, along with a tour guide, stroll past famed attractions like Fullerton Hotel and Victoria Theatre before boarding your evening cruise on an iconic bumboat. The scenic ride sails past historical and modern landmarks like the Raffles Landing Site, the Esplanade, Asian Civilizations Museum, and more. We love that you don’t just get to see Singapore from a different point of view – you also get to learn interesting tidbits about the sights along the way from the onboard commentary.
Delicious food, Instagram-worthy views, and a relaxing cruise? Sounds like a plan!

With all the hairpin corners, exhilarating tunnels, and thrilling downhill slopes, our energy was for sure at its highest by the end of it!
However, the experience doesn’t only show you Sentosa’s beauty by land but by air too! After ending at the bottom of the track, you can head back up onboard the scenic Sentosa Skyride.
