What to expect
Tokyo Rickshaw provides sightseeing information using rickshaws in Asakusa, a town with an Edo-style atmosphere. Asakusa is full of charm, with a mix of old and new. The city of Asakusa has the scent of Edo, centered around Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Sky Tree, a symbol of a new era, towers over the good old townscape. Why not take a rickshaw tour through this city, which is a mix of old and new, and is becoming increasingly attractive. Recommended not only for those who are visiting Asakusa for the first time, but also for those who have been to Asakusa many times.

Reviews
highly recommend this tour. one hour ride includes visiting temple and shrine which the rickshaw driver takes in into those buildings and teach you the customs. also good photo opportunities which the driver helps take
Even though I’ve been to Asakusa and Tokyo so many times, I was happy to discover new spots from Nishi-san, our rickshaw driver for the day. Nishi-san showed us some temple and shrine just outside of Asakusa area and told us the different customary practices between temple and shrine praying methods. Even for a seasoned traveler like myself, I still managed to learn new things about my favourite area in Tokyo. ありがとうございました西さん😁 Highly recommended for anyone interested in Japanese culture.
My first experience in Tokyo and I was absolutely happy with it. Great opportunity to explore Asakusa and avoid crowds. My rickshaw driver was Riho, take a ride with her was like when you visit friend of yours who shows you home town. Great talk, tips and jokes. Two hours of ride and fun.
Rikimaru was incredibly thoughtful and careful with my elderly mother who has mobility issues. Not only did he make sure she was able to use the restroom before the journey, but he provided a stepstool for her, picked a shrine that had no steps for her to visit and held her belongings for her. He also adjusted our itinerary to include more sakura /flower viewing since that was my mother's priority in addition to ending at the Skytree since were going to visit there after the ride. He was chatty and offered fun notes about Asakusa's locations and traditions and drew my mother out to talk about how she once used to work in Tokyo. I personally enjoyed all the entertaining facts and details about the Ushijima Shrine with the cows, in addition to showing us on how to pray and wish for health there. We came away with several photos he took of us, plus a great restaurant recommendation after he determined that we loved to eat unagi. My mother loved the experience, so I was very pleased.
highly recommended!! I met Shiyu and he did a really good job! Clear explanation about the attractions and amazing conversation made. You can also choose the route and upgrade into 1 hour ride if u want (i didnt do it tho cuz i got another itinarary). a real fun and exciting experience. Thank you so much!
Would definitely recommend! Our driver Kodie was very proactive and friendly, yet professional during the tour. He took us along the scenic routes in Asakusa, took our photos and even offered to buy snacks from food stalls for us to enjoy. He also made restaurant recommendations around the area.
Loved the experience. I was worried that my kids wouldn't be able to sit for an hour, but the drivers/runners made it fun! They were able to point out some interesting sites, and make the entire experience fun! They would turn around and talk whenever possible. I was able to get some great shots. They even take pictures for you. I would definately recommend this experience for everyone!
Very detailed and considerate. His English is very good👍If you don’t understand, he will use body language to let us understand. This time we went with a family of 5, and it was very considerate and interesting to take family photos🤳 Although we bought the itinerary from Klook, I think there is no problem in signing up directly at the venue, and the location is very close to Kaminarimon! Very convenient recommendation: Suzuki Jacqui
It was our first time trying the Asakusa rickshaw experience in Tokyo, and it turned out to be truly unforgettable. Our guide, Aki-san, was incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English, which made the entire journey even more enjoyable. She took us through the beautiful and scenic streets of Asakusa, sharing stories, pointing out interesting spots, and showing us lovely views—including the Tokyo Skytree and even the early sakura, which weren’t in full bloom yet but were still so special to see. Her warm personality and genuine enthusiasm made the ride feel personal and meaningful. This experience left us with such happy memories, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any of my friends visiting Japan. It’s something you won’t forget.
The person who helped us pull the cart was very easy to talk to. He took the initiative to help take pictures 📷 and choose suitable scenic spots. The service attitude was very good and friendly. He knew a little Chinese and would use a translator or try to express himself if he didn't understand. It was very cold and there was a floor heating blanket to cover
