What to expect
This is an Instagram-worthy route designed for Mount Fuji, where almost every stop is a viral photo spot on INS 📸🗻.
- The journey begins at Arakurayama Sengen Park. Climb 397 steps to capture Mount Fuji, the Chureito Pagoda, and the cityscape below in one shot. Whether it's cherry blossoms, fresh greenery, autumn leaves, or snow, this is a classic "must-photograph" spot. From above, overlooking Fujiyoshida City, the city and nature unfold in layers, creating a truly stunning visual.
- Next, head to the wildly popular Hikawa Clock Shop to capture the “stairway to Mount Fuji” in a quiet Japanese street. At the end of the street, Mount Fuji stands serenely, blending everyday life seamlessly with world-class scenery. It’s the kind of photo that immediately tells you it’s in Japan, at the foot of Mount Fuji 🏔️.
- Then, step into Oshino Hakkai, known as the “Jiuzhaigou at the foot of Mount Fuji.” The crystal-clear spring water reflects the blue sky, white clouds, and Mount Fuji, with a transparency that seems unreal. Wooden houses, small bridges, flowing water, and distant mountains intertwine, making every casual shot a healing Japanese masterpiece 🍃.
- The Instagram-famous Lawson convenience store frames Mount Fuji with the most ordinary street scene, simple yet highly recognizable.
- Oishi Park, in summer, adorns Mount Fuji with purple lavender, and in autumn, with red kochia, creating seasonal foreground flower seas 🌸. If you visit during specific seasons, you can also go to the Kawaguchiko Cherry Blossom Festival (March 28 - April 12) or the Maple Corridor (November 1-30) to capture cherry blossoms or red maples with Mount Fuji, unlocking a once-a-year limited scene.
- This entire route revolves around Mount Fuji, offering multiple angles, seasons, and compositions, from high-altitude views, distant street views, lakeside shots, to natural close-ups. It truly allows you to "shoot wherever you go," making it an Instagram-worthy Mount Fuji journey designed for stunning photos ✨.

Reviews summaryOne of the best memories we made during our first trip to Tokyo. Our tour guide, Linda, was amazing. She continuously got us excited for each stop, shared her deep knowledge with our bus, and even offered to take pictures of us at each stop. At the end of our trip, she offered every person some tokens of appreciation and made a point to include everyone. While we did not see Mt. Fuji cause of the weather, Linda and our driver worked hard to beat the other tour bus crowds. We will definitely recommend this to our friends!
Excellent tour! Our guide Erina was very knowledgeable. She had excellent recommendations on food, photo spots and future plans for the next visit. Definitely worth the trip. Organised very well and no issues logistically
Yesterday, I went on a long-anticipated day trip to Mount Fuji. Although it was a shame that cloudy weather prevented me from seeing the legendary Mount Fuji, the other attractions were still well worth visiting. For example, the scenery at Lake Kawaguchiko was truly beautiful, and I was surprised to even see my favorite lavender there. Oshino Hakkai was also an eye-opening experience, with its highly transparent spring water allowing me to see the aquatic plants at the bottom of the ponds. Our tour leader, Mr. Zhan Jie, was very friendly and professional. In addition to sharing a lot of knowledge about the attractions, he was also punctual and responsible in managing the itinerary and arranging meals. He is a very enthusiastic and excellent guide, and this day tour was definitely worth the price. I promise myself that next time, I will definitely see the true face of Mount Fuji.
this was such a worthwhile tour. our tour guide Alex was very helpful and polite, giving us a lot of tips and popular photo spots. he was also quite funny providing us with his anecdotes on previous tour experiences. the sights on the tour change with the seasons. we came during the tsuyu (梅雨) season, so it rained a lot. we even experienced a typhoon. Alex did his best to provide various locations for us to see Mt. Fuji. Anyway, it was just too misty and overcast to catch a glimpse of the mountain. The highlight for us was the little village of Oshino Hakkai at the base of Mt. Fuji. there were beautiful houses with the traditional thatched roofs (kayabuki), historic watermills, and unobstructed, panoramic views of Mount Fuji. Of course, we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji, but wandering through the village and visiting the delicious food stalls were a treat! the bus was comfortable, the pick up locations convenient, the shopping/food satisfying. I would highly recommend this tour. Thanks, Alex!
we had best tour guide LINDA who can speak nice English and so much information about the stops. she us well organize with all the things . had amazing day and enjoyed too much. we will definitely recommend Linda and GO GO DAY tours .
Linda was amazing!! She had messaged us directions the night before, and even though we were later to the station than the group meeting time she was really helpful in getting us all on the bus. We lucked out with weather as Fuji was visible this morning , later in the day clouds covered it up but we still had a great time going to the rest of the sites and doing some shopping. Linda was energetic throughout the day and helped keep our group on time and we never had to really queue for anything. Overall it was an unforgettable day!
I enjoyed a lot! Everyone in the group was on time. Linda took a good care of us from the reminders, to ordering the lunch in advance, and for the time management. She also has a cute humor. I'm very satisfied I joined this trip. Superb quality and experience! Linda gave us a present after the trip too!
Guide Lee Han-san, thank you so much for your hard work on today's Mt. Fuji day tour. I sincerely appreciate you kindly guiding me, a Taiwanese solo traveler, and helping me create wonderful memories. I was especially happy that Mt. Fuji showed off its magnificent beauty today, allowing me to take many photos. Thanks to you, Guide, it was an even more enjoyable and memorable day. Thank you once again, and I wish you good health and all the best always.
Our guide, Linda, is great! She's lively, a bit fun, and presents the locations well. She's also strict with the schedule, which is necessary since the tour lasts all day. The bus is comfortable and has good air conditioning. We were lucky to see Mount Fuji in the morning without clouds, but by the afternoon, it was almost entirely covered. I highly recommend this tour!
Our tour guide, Yuan Yang Ge, created a great atmosphere on the bus and spoke very clearly. Throughout the trip, he introduced us to the background of Mount Fuji, helping us understand the local culture and sharing his own travel experiences. He even made sure we wouldn't get lost, leading us to specific points before letting us explore. Today's trip wasn't unforgettable, but I felt very lucky. The rain, which was originally forecast, finally stopped in the afternoon, and we visited every scheduled stop! Although our stays were brief, we managed to take all the photos we wanted! This day trip was truly worthwhile. The only downside was the extremely heavy fog. The guide mentioned that there are only a few days a year when Mount Fuji is visible, typically only 3-4 months out of the year. I'll definitely come back again!
