our trip to Japan is over 3 wks. I bought a couple of the 3G ones, planned to use it only for gps and emergency. based on my first 3G covered for one wk, we were confident that 2 more 3G each would be enough for the remaining holidays. wrong! wifi in some areas was poor. I ended up turned of the wifi. unfortunately, forgot to turn it back on. looking for a cheap data plan in Japan is impossible. now I can take pictures and send it right away without worrying too much.
I love this sim. I had no connections issues even in the most remote parts and the subways
Since the experience in claiming and setting this esim is seamless, I also purchased additional 3 esims for my relatives during our trip. Since their phone were already esim. Hassle free set up and worth the money.
My sister redeemed it with ease, no complicated instructions just scan the QR in your sim manager option (at least for Android phones) and you are good to go. Even if you scanned it before arriving to Japan, there will be no issues as per experience.
This esim never fails me when trying to redeem it prior to our arrival in Japan. It will immediately get a strong signal and provide you the Internet connection you paid for. Worth the money and less effort to setup since it is hassle free to scan the QR code.
I purchased the 3GB daily plan. easy to install & use - just make sure that you keep ‘data roaming’ services on to be able to use the internet. range/network/speed are great - would recommend!
it is very easy to set up, but still need two devices to set up. your phone for scanning the qr code and another device for displaying. perhaps a url should be provided
I highly recommend pocket wifi it’s convenient and cheaper ..free power bank is a bonus ..it’s easy to locate the pick point in Haneda terminal 3..it’s easy to used
