Reviews
This is a must tour if you want to experience the best cherry blossoms of hokkaido. it was a great experience esp i was able to meet new friends from other nations.
I expect much of these tour as May 1 was the forecast peak of cherry blossom season in sapporo hence I book this. We started our tour with very nice cherry blossom near in Sapporo and really appreciate. However, it will downhill afterwards. Lunch is average and then started raining and was not able to appreciate much of the cherry blossom in Nijuken Road. I was not able to catch up the name of our tour guide and was lost with some of the time since he speaks with other language (not in english) most of the time. Its not the same with my other tours in klook where the tour guides introduce thier names first and emphasize what time to come back in the bus/car. Perhaps this tour need improvement and much better to have experience cherry blossom near sapporo area or nearby place. I suggest also you can include lunch with the tour like buffet as an option. Thank you!
The cherry blossoms bloomed early this year, so I was mentally prepared not to see the cherry blossoms. Unexpectedly, the tour guide adopted plan B. Although it rained that day, I arrived at the Toda Cemetery and saw the Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms in bloom. I was filled with joy and went back in the afternoon. Otaru and Mount Tengu. The foggy Tengu Mountain has a unique flavor
The tour guide was a very interesting young man! They also helped us find beautiful places to take photos! You can feel his enthusiasm! I will join another group next time I have the chance.
I really enjoyed this tour, the guide was kind and helpful, also the sakuras were so beautiful!! the only downside for me was the food, was fine but not great.
The cherry blossoms in the original scenic spot were scattered, and they were immediately replaced by Toda Memorial Park, where the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, which is very beautiful. I highly recommend hospitable Hokkaido. The staff are friendly and answer every question. The itinerary is very well arranged. I will participate in their activities next time
love nippon tour local guides are good...they arranged for alternative place to see the cherry blossom plus other interesting sites...lucky to have a very good wether as well.
I wasn't disappointed at all. I thought it was hopeless when it started raining, but I got to see the cherry blossoms for the first time, and they were so beautiful! 02/05/26. Thank you to our guide for helping me take photos, as I was traveling alone.
For starters, the timing of the meet up in the morning kept changing. then after finalising, it was 15 minutes late to start. the first stop at the outskirts of Sapporo (Kanchidoboku Research institute) was satisfactory. quite a few trees there . things went downhill after that . we had lunch at Tomakomai at our own expense, which was okay but the place smelled fishy. then we were brought to Nijukken Road area which was supposed to be well known , all the hawkers there waiting for the weekend crowd, but it was raining and freezing cold and hardly if any tree had bloomed flowers . we had to walk around in the mud. the guide sensed some unhappiness in the participants, so he apologised and bought us some chocolate which was a right thing to do. the rest stop was really quite ordinary if hyped, and the cafe staff was very cold and rude. finally we were taken to a park outside Sapporo which had a nice view and some Sakura there but by then we were tired and already lost mood. overall at the most just “okay” but sullied by some unpleasantness.
Very good experience! The guide was friendly and professional in all aspects!
