Taichung Sun Moon Lake & Formosan Culture Full-Day Tour

Overall a smooth experience. easy and cost effective way to travel to cultural village (especially for 2 pax). The guide is helpful and fluent in English and Chinese. The village is huge and crowded. many rides to play and a few cherry blossoms left.

Nice tour, great guide mr eric lin, I enjoyed the tour. were around 6-8 only on this trip. the place was huge like expect a lot of walking the theme park offers a lot, save time as well by using the gondola it was a nice experience

The driver is very friendly! There were introductions along the way. The scenery of Sun Moon Lake when taking the cable car was beautiful. I was grateful to meet two friends from the Philippines who visited the Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village together and had a pleasant day!

tour was fine, but the tour company should've sent a tour guide who can at least speak a little English, it was hard for us, lucky to have someone from the group who can translate to us, what if there is none 😥. Also, I guess they should've given us at least 1 hr to go around Sun Moon lake, we can either rent a bike to go around, it is actually possible, but the guide took us directly to the cable car going to Formosan, and must go back at 4pm, so what we did was go back 30 minutes earlier and had some picture taking at the lake, should've done it an hour to have much time. Satisfaction was so-so, hope the tour company can improve their services

Mr. Liu, the driver, was very enthusiastic and explained the stories of Sun Moon Lake + the indigenous people along the way. Highly recommended for foreigners visiting. The vehicle was comfortable. Taking the cable car directly to the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village at 10:30 am allows you to play until around 3 pm, which is quite good.

Worth the price; Angel, our tour guide, was very nice. Although we were not non-Mandarin speaker, she made sure that we were not left out and still talked to us and discussed what needs to be discussed for the tour. The Sun Moon Lake Ropeway and the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village were excellent activities to experience.

The driver was very polite, there were few people in the car, and someone gave a tip. Later, the driver also asked for food. The whole trip was very happy. You can go in and out of the nine races by cable car. The amusement facilities are slow. Only Maya Adventure is suitable for young people. The venue is large and everywhere. Cherry blossoms, a good experience for a day outing for young and old, next time I will bring the dog for a run, you can also wear a kimono, picnic, food is expensive, you can bring your own

Meet at Feng Jia MacDonald at 8am before we were transferred to a coach bus to Wen Wu Temple then proceed to Jiu Zhu via cable car. As we went in March the cherry blossoms were beautiful. Amusement rides were included too. My 2 year old baby were so happy enjoying it. Went back to the coach bus at 320pm before drop us back to Feng Jia Night market.

Our guide, Apple, was very attentive in driving us around Sun Moon Lake, and she took great photos for us at each attraction. I highly recommend finding Apple as your guide when you're in Taiwan.

If you have enough time to play slowly and have enough budget, you can consider it If you go to Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village by yourself, you can play for most of the day. On the other side of Sun Moon Lake, we also visited the Man Mo Temple.
