Activation procedure
- Please follow the step-by-step guide in the manual booklet that comes in with the SIM card package
- Important: If you try the SIM card at counter and it doesn't work, cancellation will be accepted. However, cancellation will not be accepted if you cannot establish APN setting and your phone is not comptaible with due to not SIM free device
- Validity starts as soon as the SIM card is inserted into the phone. It is advised to use the SIM immediately to avoid cases of failed activation

- This is a Data-only SIM card. Calls, texts, or topping up additional credits will not be possible
- Detailed data usage is based on the backend data of the telecommunications company and the network speeds may vary in remote areas
- Kindly check the complete list of network providers that are supported by this SIM
- You must fix the APN (Access Point Name) setting before browsing. Please read the guidelines on how to set your APN profile
- Double-check your phone and network settings if you cannot connect to the network after inserting your SIM. If the network speed is slow or if there are other connection problems occuring simultaneously, such as device is not compatible with our sim card or if you fail to set up APN setting, please contact Sakura Mobile customer support team via email (contact@sakuramobile.jp)
- Please make sure you've specififed your name, booking number, and shipping information in the email
- Unlimited Data packages: the operator will not cover any troubles due to device incompatibility or any other occasion that causes invalid use of the device
- **Unlimited Data with Compatibility Insurance: Provide guaranteed connectivity with the device and a WiFi device will be shipped to your hotel as a replacement in the case that the SIM card is not working due to any technical issues

simple and convenient way to redeem your SIM card, it’s located outside Narita arrival hall on the most right hand side. you just have to present your booking id to redeem the SIM card. it’s recommended to book it on Klook .

Worked flawlessly on our 7 day Tokyo trip. A bit tricky to install so you have to read the instructions carefully. A must have for your Japan trip as prepaid sims are pricier if you will buy it there.

i highly recommend this simcard its very easy to setup and works perfectly fine in all parts of japan. only downside is that during our 7th day, the data seems slow to no access at all. i think we consume all the gb. nevertheless, i still recommend this.

Their counter was easy to find and they were open even at 6:00 am. SIM was easy to install and instructions for settings were easy to understand. I had uninterrupted mobile data for my entire stay in Japan (6 days). Mobile data was even faster than some of the public wifi around Tokyo and always worked even in the subway stations. Very satisfied with this SIM and I'm glad they're still around for people who don't have eSIM phones, like me. Highly recommended! The photos are maps of where the SIM'e signal always worked!
