Good to know
For the best experience at Domaine Chandon, ask your guide which sparkling varietal is pouring as the “seasonal special”—it’s often a limited-release you won’t find elsewhere. At the Kangaroo Encounter, keep your camera ready as the roos are most active right after sunset; position yourself slightly uphill for the best silhouettes against the fading light. And if you’re a chocolate lover, save a little room before arriving at the Chocolaterie—the private tasting is generous!

Yarra Valley was amazing!! We went to 3 wineries. My favorite was St. Hubert’s Estate. We also went to the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie. The ride was comfortable and our guide was super nice. Next timeI visit, I prefer to just visit one winery and have wine and charcuterie. Also, it would be helpful to send map of exact pick-up points to guide guests. 🙂
Enjoyed our very first wine tasting! Wasn’t sure what we should expect or compare but we had fun. Not much explanation on the process of wine making. The chocolate tour was nice too!
