Reviews
We bought the 7 days rail pass for Kansai Hokuriku area. When we arrive at Kansai Airport, we used this pass to take a train from osaka airport to fukui . Of course you have to change train a few times but it is manageable for us even though we had three big luggage. We also took shinkansen from Fukui to Toyama and shin osaka to okayama. If you travel s lot within these 7 days, this pass is for you.however, if for only one trip, it is not worth it..
Exchanging your pass and reserving seats at the JR Ticket Office in Kansai Airport is very convenient. It allows you to travel smoothly throughout the Kansai, Osaka, Kyoto, and Hokuriku areas. Riding the Thunderbird, Hokuriku Shinkansen, etc., also saves time, making it easy to reserve more time to visit various places!!!
Using the ticket to travel from Kanazawa to Kyoto, then taking the Haruka Express to Kansai Airport is very convenient.
Easy to redeem, enjoy 7 days of unlimited travel in Kanazawa, Toyama, Osaka, Okayama, Kurashiki, and more. Excellent value! 👍
Value for money as we went to many places. You can also use it on local JR Buses and trains. Will surely get again.
This pass is extremely valuable. Free ride on JR trains including limited express with reserved seats. We can take the bullet train to reach Okayama and Hemeji, this save us a lot of time. Great valur, must buy if you travel in Osaka.
With this pass, you can take many forms of transportation, including the Hokuriku Shinkansen, local lines, and limited express trains (unlimited seat reservations). It's a great value!
Worth every Yen!!! So easy to book ride,,,first booked everything thru the green machine after 6 bookings it can only be booked thru the JR office.
The Kansai-Hokuriku Pass connects Kaga Onsen, Maibara, Kyoto, Osaka, and offers direct Haruka access to Kansai Airport, making inter-regional travel extremely convenient and saving a significant amount on transportation costs. However, it has many restrictions, and it's difficult to get your money's worth unless you frequently travel long distances across multiple prefectures. It's a "long-distance exclusive pass" that is very selective about itineraries.
Thanks to the pass that allows travel from Kansai to Toyama, it seems I'll be able to visit the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route for the first time in 11 years. However, after hearing the weather forecast for the start of the rainy season, I changed my accommodation from Toyama to Kanazawa. If the weather is good, I plan to go straight to Toyama. A round trip from Kansai to Toyama alone costs over 20,000 yen, so I'll make good use of the pass!
