“Sankei-en” represents the mountains, countryside, and sea of Hiroshima One is a mountain zone that makes use of natural forests, and there is a “three-tiered waterfall” with a height difference of about 14 meters. Next, the Sato Zone is inspired by Satoyama, such as Kamo Daichi and Sera Plateau, and includes a bamboo grove, a plum grove, a reservoir (Sato Pond), and a maple valley. The other zone is the sea zone representing the Seto Inland Sea, with the Nakajima group and bridges in the ocean, and Shiomi-tei, a Sukiya feng shui floating architecture reminiscent of Miyajima. In this way, it was named “Sankei-en” after the three landscapes of Hiroshima: mountains, village, and sea.
