Eligibility

• Citizens of the Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as "this country") who wish to apply for membership must be natural persons aged 18 or older and provide an ID card and a motor vehicle (including motorcycle) driver's license for supplier review.
• Foreign nationals or individuals residing outside of Taiwan who wish to apply for membership must present a valid Taiwan Alien Resident Certificate or passport, a valid international driver's license, and an authorized valid credit card for supplier review.

(1) You understand and agree that the ownership of electric scooters and their accessories belongs to the Company (depending on the actual situation of individual electric scooters and their accessories, owned separately or jointly by WeMo Technology Co., Ltd. and/or Weixiang Telematics Co., Ltd.). These Terms of Service only lease the electric scooters and their accessories to members for use, and members do not acquire any other rights. Members are not agents of the Company for any purpose, and any repair or replacement of any parts or accessories of the electric scooter must be approved by the Company in advance. (2) You understand and agree that the Company shall not be liable for any interruption, malfunction, delay, data transmission or storage errors caused by the failure of network system hardware and software provided by telecommunication operators, credit card acquiring institutions, or members’ devices, or due to force majeure factors such as natural disasters, or in situations where the Company performs necessary maintenance and construction on its equipment after proper prior announcement, which results in members being unable to complete the mobile phone rental and return service in time and thus causing delays in their itinerary. (3) You understand and agree that if any data or images are extracted from the Company’s website or official APP without the Company’s prior consent, resulting in damage to the member’s computer system, the Company shall not be liable for compensation. (4) Before renting a vehicle, please check whether the electric scooter can operate normally. If within 5 minutes after picking up the vehicle, the scooter and accessories are found not to be in the agreed-upon usable condition, and the vehicle is returned to the same location, the Company will not charge for this ride after confirming that the vehicle cannot operate normally; if a malfunction occurs during the rental period of the electric scooter, the member should immediately contact the Company’s customer service personnel for assistance, and the member may request a reduction in rent, a vehicle change, or termination of the lease. If items in the trunk are damaged due to vehicle abnormality, the maximum compensation limit is TWD 500 for riding fees; if items are left in the trunk due to vehicle abnormality, the Company will arrange for logistics delivery, and the items will be delivered within 10 working days. (5) WeMo Fly provides renters with the function to change batteries themselves; information on the remaining battery power can be viewed in the official APP; the power information is an estimate, and there will be individual errors depending on operating habits. The estimated mileage on the dashboard will automatically update the estimate based on current operating behavior. Rapid acceleration (high SEC power consumption on the dashboard) easily consumes power (increased power consumption), which is a normal phenomenon. (This is similar to the general understanding of using a fuel vehicle: fuel consumption increases when a fuel vehicle is at high RPMs). (6) Vehicle accessories and equipment include, but are not limited to, one WeMo Scooter standard 3/4 helmet and one 1/2 helmet, Ionex battery, phone holder, and parking lot access card. (7) When using the Company’s service to rent an electric scooter, the following battery storage rules should be followed:
• It is strictly forbidden to reverse connect or short-circuit the positive and negative terminals of the battery to avoid short circuits, electric shock to personnel, or battery damage.
• It is strictly forbidden to disassemble, modify, or use the battery pack for non-standard purposes.
• It is strictly forbidden to use any tools to damage the battery pack.
• It is strictly forbidden to expose the battery to high temperatures, such as heat sources, fire sources, or direct sunlight, to avoid battery damage.
• It is strictly forbidden to insert thin objects or strike the battery pack with a hammer.
• Please do not place items in the battery compartment to avoid short circuits or poor contact, which could lead to battery damage.
• It is strictly forbidden to heat, burn, or impact the battery pack.
• The batteries for electric scooters are dedicated battery packs. Do not use them for other equipment or swap batteries between different electric scooters.
• It is strictly forbidden to spray water on electrical components and battery packs to avoid the risk of leakage and short circuits.
• It is strictly forbidden to expose the battery to rain, water, or any organic solvents or chemicals to avoid short circuits, electric shock to personnel, or battery damage.
• The Ionex batteries used in WeMo Fly electric scooters are provided by Guangjie Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guangjie Company"). If there are any abnormal conditions with the battery or charging station, please contact the Company's customer service personnel or Guangjie Company's customer service hotline at 0800-090-060.

(8) Users are reminded to pay attention to the following matters when storing Ionex batteries:

• Ionex batteries may become slightly warm after use. Please be careful when changing or handling them.
• Each Ionex battery weighs approximately 10 kg. Please handle and place them carefully with both hands.
• If an Ionex battery has any abnormalities (such as leakage, damage, deformation, etc.), please stop using it immediately and contact the Company's customer service personnel or Guangjie Company's customer service hotline at 0800-090-060 for assistance.

(9) The phone holder configured on the vehicle is provided for your convenience. The phone holder is not part of the WeMo Scooter service. You agree that the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or special damages (losses) arising from your use of the phone holder. Furthermore, if the phone holder is damaged due to incorrect use, the user shall compensate for the cost of the phone holder. (10) If the vehicle parking lot access card is lost, a re-issuance fee of TWD 300 will be charged at the original price. (11) This service has operational area restrictions. It is an allowed use for members to drive electric scooters outside the operational area, but if the battery runs out or other accidents attributable to the member prevent the electric scooter from being ridden back to and parked within the operational area on the day of rental, the member should immediately notify the Company’s customer service personnel. The Company will then transport the electric scooter back to the operational area and charge the member the rental fee from the time of rental until the Company completes the dispatch, as well as a dispatch handling fee. The detailed operational area and dispatch fees are subject to the latest announcements on the official website or official APP. If the rented vehicle runs completely out of power, making it impossible to operate the vehicle (open the trunk, return the vehicle, etc.), any resulting time delays or additional handling fees shall be borne by the member. (12) During the rental period, the member must drive the vehicle themselves. It is not allowed to let others drive without the Company’s prior consent and registration in these Terms of Service; in particular, it is forbidden to let others without a driver’s license drive, drive under the influence of drugs/alcohol (including refusing testing), overload, or use for learning to drive. (13) When you use WeMo Scooter, you promise to comply with the relevant traffic regulations for motorcycle riding in the Republic of China. If any violation of the Criminal Code, the Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act, or the Waste Disposal Act occurs (including but not limited to violations of the relevant traffic regulations for motorcycle riding in the Republic of China), the Company will attach relevant evidence and directly report it according to law or cooperate with the competent authority’s investigation to provide relevant information. You promise never to use this service for any illegal purpose or in any illegal way, and guarantee never to use this service to infringe upon the rights of others or engage in illegal acts. Violators may have their membership suspended or terminated by the Company, and the vehicle will be immediately repossessed. If any direct or indirect damage or expenses are caused (including but not limited to dispatch handling fees, fines, operational losses due to license plate revocation, etc.), the Company may claim compensation from you. (14) Dispatch handling fee refers to the fee assessed based on comprehensive factors such as distance, occasion, and difficulty (fees range from TWD 500 to TWD 2000) when the vehicle is returned outside the area designated by the Company, or when the Company needs to tow the vehicle back due to an accident attributable to the member. You agree that the determination and fees for this part shall be based on the Company’s determination according to the specific case.

(15) Rent and return at will in the five major cities; for rent and return stations at the same location nationwide, please refer to the official website https://www.wemoscooter.com/servicemap (16) Service fee refers to the handling fee incurred if the terms of service are violated or if personnel need to be dispatched to assist with vehicle-related services. (Fees start from TWD 300) (17) According to the local government’s self-governance regulations for shared mobility operators, WeMo Scooters can only be parked in legal public open-air motorcycle parking spaces (excluding time-limited parking spaces, time-restricted no-parking spaces, special spaces for people with disabilities, etc.), and in off-street parking lots designated by the Company. If parking is in a space not approved by the government, any fines, parking fees, and service fees shall be borne by the member. (18) When using the self-service station rental and return (Round-the-Island Longitudinal Line) electric scooter rental service, the rented electric scooter must be parked at the designated return location upon return. (19) All parking fees incurred during the rental period by members using self-service station rental and return (Round-the-Island Longitudinal Line) shall be borne by the member. (20) Rental and return stations: Due to possible changes in cooperative parking lot operators, the actual cooperative rental and return stations are based on the icons (blue background with white P square) displayed in real-time on the APP. (21) The Company’s official APP may display notifications reminding you that your location may be a “high penalty area, time-limited parking space, time-restricted no-parking space,” or other special parking spaces. However, you acknowledge that such notifications may have errors due to hardware, network, software, communication, weather, technical, and other related issues, and cannot be used as a basis for determining your parking location; you should still follow the “traffic-related markings or signs” around the parking space and park the rented electric scooter in accordance with these terms. (22) You promise to cooperate with the fair use rental principle and not to continuously or long-term occupy the vehicle in a speculative manner, causing inconvenience to other members. If you cause the electric scooter to be unable to be normally rented by others, and this is confirmed by the Company, the Company may temporarily or permanently disable your account and immediately repossess the vehicle. (23) If due to your negligence (including but not limited to forgetting to return the vehicle, parking the electric scooter in a private place, etc.), the electric scooter cannot be normally rented by others, you shall proportionally compensate the Company for its operating rental losses. Operating rental losses are calculated based on the basic pricing method, using the “Matters to be Recorded and Not to be Recorded in the Standard Contract for Motorcycle Rental” as the standard, with a maximum daily limit of TWD 4,320. The calculation starts from the effective date of the rental service until the Company retrieves the vehicle. (Crossing midnight counts as the next day) (24) When you finish riding, you should put the accessories back into the trunk under the seat, properly close the trunk lid, and then turn off the scooter and return it. After the vehicle is confirmed to be turned off and the APP shows a successful return, complete the payment and obtain an electronic invoice, ensuring that the rental and return process is completed correctly before leaving the vehicle.
