What to expect
What is Snorkeling? Snorkeling is a marine activity where you wear a diving mask, snorkel, and fins, floating on the surface of the sea while enjoying the underwater scenery. It doesn’t require special swimming skills, making it a very popular introductory marine activity, perfect for families, parent-child trips, couples, and female travelers. Experienced instructors will guide you. Even travelers who are not good at swimming can easily enjoy snorkeling. The snorkeling spot boasts abundant fish and coral. It’s also an ideal location for first-time snorkelers in Okinawa.
Emphasizing Safety and Fun The instructor will provide appropriate services and guidance according to each guest’s condition. Even if you can’t swim, you can participate with peace of mind. The instructor will use buoyancy devices to guide guests to the Blue Cave. The itinerary also includes a fish observation tour, allowing you to admire more fish in the sea.
What is Sea Walking? Sea walking is a marine activity where you can walk on the seabed, without carrying heavy diving equipment or needing any swimming skills, to closely observe fish and coral. Air is supplied through a special hose for sea walking, allowing you to breathe the same air as on land. After putting on a special helmet, you will slowly descend to the seabed from a dedicated ladder. You will gradually descend while equalizing ear pressure. Once you reach the seabed, you can “walk” as if you were on land. You can also easily take photos and videos while experiencing sea walking.
Features of Sea Walking and Differences from Experience Diving Since you walk on the seabed, even non-swimmers can participate. Your face is less likely to get wet, and your makeup is easier to maintain. The breathing method is exactly the same as on land, allowing for natural breathing. You can wear glasses to participate without needing to remove them.
Children aged 8 and above can participate in this tour. In the water, a dedicated instructor will guide guests through the activity. Even first-time sea walkers can participate with peace of mind. It is very suitable for families, couples, and female travelers to enjoy a leisurely walk in the sea. The instructor will take you to popular Okinawan waters to admire the white sandy beaches and abundant fish. In summer, you can wear a swimsuit to participate. If needed, you can also wear a free wetsuit. Guests wearing glasses can also participate directly.
