Naha Okinawa Play Multilingual Guide Appreciation
- A comedy you can enjoy without understanding the language: Even if you don’t understand the dialogue, this Okinawan comedy naturally makes you laugh through comical movements and expressions.
- Peace of mind with 5-language audio guides: Compatible with Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, and Thai guides using your smartphone and earphones, so there is no need to worry about the language barrier. During the performance, everyone listens to the audio guide through earphones while focusing on the stage, so solo participants are also welcome (the experience is the same whether you participate alone or in a group). *Note: There are no Thai-speaking staff at the venue, but you can enjoy the performance with peace of mind as the Thai audio guide will guide you through the production.
- Authentic Okinawan performing arts with a history of about 140 years: Experience live popular theater that has been loved even before televisions and movies became widespread.
- Safe even in the rain and easily accessible between sightseeing: Completely indoor, directly connected to Kenchomae Station, and you can casually enjoy the approximately 1-hour performance.
- First-timers and solo travelers welcome: Easy-to-understand stories, recommended for families, couples, friends, and solo visitors alike.

Okinawa Shibai is a popular performing art of Okinawa that has been cherished as people's greatest entertainment before the spread of television and movies.
