What to expect
Dear friends, we will take you on a tour of three super-popular attractions: Gujo Hachiman, Hida Takayama, and Shirakawa-go Gassho Village. You don't have to worry about transportation and transfers, just relax and enjoy the trip.
We will first come to Gujo Hachiman, surrounded by clear streams, and slowly walk on the stone-paved lanes to experience the most authentic daily life of a Japanese town. Then, we will go to the old street of Hida Takayama, where you can freely stroll, taste Hida beef snacks, and browse traditional shops. The time is arranged just right, so you don't have to rush. Finally, we will visit the World Heritage Site Shirakawa-go Gassho Village. The fairytale-like Gassho-style houses and natural scenery will make you fall in love at first sight.
The pace of the trip is relaxed and the stay time is sufficient. Whether it is your first time to Japan or you want to see the original scenery of Japan again, this is a very reassuring and worthwhile trip.

We mainly signed up for Gujo Hachiman Castle, and it's definitely worth climbing up to the main keep to take a look. The only downside was that we only had an hour in Gujo Hachiman, which felt a bit rushed if you wanted to climb up to the castle. In Hida Takayama Old Town, you must try Hida beef, and in Shirakawa-go, you absolutely have to go up to the observation deck. Our tour guide, Liu Chang, was excellent (100 points)! Before the tour started, she introduced the attractions in three languages (Chinese, English, and Japanese) and clearly communicated the meeting times. The driver drove steadily. It was a very fulfilling trip, highly recommended.

Stacy was a great tour guide, she was very informative. If you have a free day and want to travel around the Gifu prefecture this trip is well worth the money.
The timing of the itinerary for these three spots was just right. Climbing Gujo Hachiman Castle was a pleasant surprise, offering a magnificent view. The other two spots were as good as described online. Our driver, Mr. Wu, was very kind and even dropped us off conveniently on his way at the end of the trip. However, don't expect too much commentary; the driver focuses on driving, and it's not convenient for him to explain things while on the road. Note: We were a small group of four; I'm not sure if a larger group would have a separate tour guide for explanations.

[Pre-Trip Notice]
- Please be sure to arrive on time for the meeting: If you do not participate in the trip due to personal reasons (late arrival/getting lost/physical discomfort, etc.), you will not be refunded. Please note that no refunds will be given.
- This itinerary is a fixed route group tour, and you will need to share a ride with other passengers throughout the journey. No parking is allowed outside of the scenic spots.
- Depending on the number of people in the group on the day, a small car model with a driver serving as a guide may be used. Please cooperate with the staff's arrangements throughout the journey (in the case of a small car, you will enjoy a more flexible itinerary rhythm, and the driver will focus on driving with relatively brief explanations).
- Each person can bring one piece of luggage for free. For extra luggage, you can pay 2000 Japanese yen/piece to the driver/guide on site. Please be sure to note this when placing your order. If you do not inform us in advance, the tour guide has the right to refuse you to board the bus and the tour fee will not be refunded.
- Registration for seniors over 70 years old and pregnant women: Please request and sign a disclaimer agreement from the staff email jingyu12333@163.com no later than one day before departure, and return it to us to ensure travel safety.
- Due to climate change, the time when maple leaves turn red may be advanced or delayed. Once the group is formed, refunds or complaints about the itinerary cannot be made on the grounds that the maple leaves are not red. Please be aware of this.
[Notice During the Trip]
- The time spent at each scenic spot has been optimally designed, so please strictly abide by the time to avoid affecting the overall itinerary.
- The itinerary time may be adjusted due to force majeure such as traffic, weather, and crowds. In the event of delays or partial itinerary changes, we regret that we cannot accept requests for refunds or compensation. Please understand the uncertainty of the journey.
- Traffic congestion may occur during holidays and peak periods. The tour guide will flexibly adjust the itinerary as appropriate. Please be prepared for this and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
- To maintain the cleanliness of the car, please do not eat or drink in the car. If damage is caused, cleaning fees will be charged according to local standards. Please jointly create a comfortable riding environment.
- If you leave the group on your own/leave the team midway after the start of the trip, it will be regarded as an automatic waiver of service, and no refund will be given. (You will be responsible for safety during the period you are not with the group)--
