Reviews
We didn’t really know what to expect when we arrived early at the Dome. Since Klook didn’t provide clear instructions on which gate to enter, we had a bit of trouble finding the spot. Even the Dome staff weren’t sure where the Snow Mobile area was. In the end, we figured it out ourselves—head to the North Gate, follow the Snow Zone signs, and you’ll reach the location just outside the Dome. Once we got started, the experience was incredible. My husband and I had an absolute blast. We’ve tried sand dune mobiles before, but this one felt completely different. As long as you pay close attention to the instructor’s guidance, you’ll be fine. The ride lasts about 30 minutes, but honestly, I lost track of time because it was so thrilling to drive up and down the snowy hills. It’s one of those unforgettable experiences that will stay with me forever. Truly worth every penny!
This experience is perfect for travelers who don’t want to join a tour and prefer to enjoy snowmobiling without going far from central Sapporo. The instructor was extremely helpful, spoke good English, and had excellent communication, which made the whole experience feel safe and enjoyable. They also help you took photos and videos during the ride. Travel time from Fukuzumi Station to the snowmobile location is about 20 minutes in total by walking. You can enter from either the North or West gate. I recommend using the West entrance, as it is indoor, more comfortable in winter, and you can also visit the Daiwa museum along the way. Highly recommended!
While other snowmobile locations require you to travel far, this one is accessible by subway line 1 + walking if you stay in Susukino. (Not an ad) I use the WiVi Travel check card, and you can use that card on the subway. The starting point is not the location registered on Klook, but the "snow zone" indicated by the arrow on the right end of the screenshot. Snowmobiling was fun. After a very brief practice session, you proceed to the main course, which was quite fun. They take photos for you, which you can receive later for 5,000 yen, and you can also download them via QR code. The instructor also took photos with my phone from time to time, so you don't have to worry too much about buying the photos for 5,000 yen.
We had a great time trying the snowmobile experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially our instructor, Naoki-san. Naoki-san gave very clear instructions and patiently guided us, which made the experience comfortable even for first-timers. He was attentive to safety while still making the activity fun and enjoyable. The ride itself was super exciting! It was definitely one of the highlights of our winter trip in Hokkaido.
You don't have to go far. It's the best. My kids and I had a great time. Everyone is kind and helpful, making it easy to have fun.
wonderful experience!! the best. instructor is cool and very friendly
Fantastic place to try out snow mobile. The guides were very friendly and helpful. We were the only ones there which gave us the liberty to stop at more places to take photos! We were even given the option to ride the banana boat and snow raft at a discounted price (which we did!). Definitely a hidden gem, highly recommended! location: Super easy to find from fukuzumi station (about 10-15 mins walk) safety: There were staff at more dangerous turns ensuring our safety instructor: Friendly and gave clear instructions in english. Willing to help us take photos and videos from our phones and cameras experience: Wonderful experience would definitely go back again!
