Izu Omuroyama & Jogasaki Coast Full-Day Small Group Experience

I was really satisfied with this day trip to Izu. The itinerary was very smooth, and every attraction, from Mount Omuro to Jogasaki Coast, was unique. My favorite part was riding the scenic train; watching the ocean views along the way was so romantic and perfect for couples to slowly enjoy the scenery together. The view from Mount Omuro was very open, offering 360-degree panoramic views, and the photos turned out beautifully. Traveling in a small group made the whole trip very relaxed and unhurried. The experience was much better than I expected, and I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We'd like to thank our driver and tour guide, Mr. Liu, for his attentive and meticulous care throughout this trip. The itinerary was very fulfilling, and the option to pay extra for direct hotel pickup and drop-off was incredibly convenient, allowing us to get a little more sleep. During the journey, Mr. Liu provided detailed explanations for all our questions. On the return trip, we encountered traffic, and Mr. Liu remained very patient despite the long drive. We are very satisfied with the arrangements for this trip and highly recommend it to everyone!

I understand it was a private tour, but it meant we were grouped with others to form a small group of 9 people, which fit perfectly in the van. The driver was Chinese, and there were minor communication issues, though we used a translation app, and the driver was very attentive. The other people on the trip were also fine. According to the itinerary, we were supposed to visit a zoo, but on the actual day, we weren't informed that we had to choose between the zoo and Mount Omuro. Or perhaps we could have visited both if they were close by, and the participants could have managed their own time, or we should have been informed from the start. However, the natural attractions were excellent, beautiful, and impressive. As for the scenic train ride, we couldn't see the ocean view because of heavy fog, which depends on the season and weather. We had to rush back to the city by 2 PM because of the long distance and heavy traffic near the city. Overall, I was impressed. It was a bit of a whirlwind tour, but we had good time at Mount Omuro.

This tour exceeded all expectations. The driver was professional and knew the best timing to avoid crowds. We had plenty of time to explore Jogasaki Coast's beautiful trails and take photos. The train ride was the highlight — sitting by the window watching the endless Pacific. A truly well-planned Izu experience.

This day trip is truly excellent value! The Cactus Zoo has many cute animals for photos, the scenic train offers stunning ocean views along the way, and Jogasaki Coast is incredibly spectacular. The entire tour is conducted in a small group, with a comfortable schedule, so there's no pressure to rush.

We were very lucky to take the cable car up Mount Omuro, and the trip went smoothly. We encountered road maintenance, which caused traffic jams both ways. Fortunately, our driver made excellent arrangements, allowing us to complete our journey successfully. The scenery was beautiful; the only downside was the long travel distance.

I highly recommend this Izu small group day tour. There's plenty of time to explore and take photos at Mount Omuro. The scenic train ride is relaxing, with very therapeutic ocean views along the way. The Jogasaki Coast offers magnificent scenery, and the pace of the entire day's itinerary is just right, making it perfect for families, couples, or friends to enjoy together.

Overall, the trip felt quite rushed. We were only given 2 hours to cover Mt. Omuro, Izu Shaboten Zoo, and lunch, which is basically impossible. We ended up skipping Mt. Omuro entirely, visited only Izu Shaboten Zoo, and had a very quick lunch. The Izu Ocean View Train was breathtaking, but that was really the only other highlight. Kadowaki Suspension Bridge was nothing special, just a simple side sea view. The whole experience felt overrated, especially with how much the driver hurried us to avoid traffic jams. We arrived at 10am and were already leaving by 2pm. Plus, we requested an English-speaking driver but received a Chinese-speaking driver instead, so we needed someone else to help translate. However, we did have a genuinely fun time at the zoo. Petting the capybaras and feeding the red pandas was the best part of the entire trip. Honestly the highlight that saved the day.
