Melbourne Great Ocean Road & Twelve Apostles Full-Day Tour

Had a fantastic Great Ocean Road tour! The views were incredible, and everything was well organized. A big thank you to Daniel for taking such good care of us throughout the day. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained all the sights and stops really well. His driving was excellent, and he made the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Daniel as your guide!

The trip itself was enjoyable and we had a good time overall. However, the experience was heavily conducted in Mandarin and the group was predominantly Mandarin-speaking. The commentary was mostly delivered at length in Mandarin, with only brief summaries in English. As a result, we often had to figure things out on our own. The biggest disappointment came after the trip, when we were asked to pay a mandatory tip of $5 per person — $20 for a family of four! If it had been a voluntary tip, we would have been more than happy to contribute. However, making it compulsory felt unreasonable. Throughout the trip, we felt like outsiders in a group catered mainly to Mandarin-speaking mainland tourists. While the driver was polite and helpful, this aspect of the experience left us dissatisfied.

The driver introduced each stop, and the time given was just right. Highly recommended!

Standing before the Twelve Apostles, the wind howled and waves crashed violently against the massive rock formations. The sunset painted the rocks a golden-orange, creating a truly breathtaking sight. Strolling along the boardwalk, you can experience the awe-inspiring power of nature's handiwork; the vastness of the sky and land instantly broadens your perspective.

The scenery is beautiful, and you can enjoy natural landscapes along the way. It's a pleasant experience.

itinerary was a little disappointing as we travelled so far and we only drop by 2 stops for scenery viewing. I know there r many more sites to visit. probably can skip the “kola searching” and cut short the “great ocean road drive” to add in more scenic view. driver/guide was humour probably because i understand mandarin. for non Chinese i wonder how much he can catch. overall still a pleasant trip. price reasonable.

guide failed to speak any english at all. did not tell us anything just spoke chinese all the time. for that reason it was a terrible trip. I was squashed in the back. I suffer from claustropbia and did not move me to the front ignored my request!!!
