[Atami Fireworks Festival Day Trip] Hakone Cruise/ Mt. Omuro Ropeway/ Kamakura Enoden (Multiple Routes Available, Departure from Tokyo)

This itinerary is perfect for families with children; meal times and tour arrangements are just right. Our guide, Tommy, was very responsible and attentive, managing the schedule perfectly and recommending the most comfortable and convenient spot to watch the fireworks. We didn't have to spend time pushing through crowds after the show, and both adults and children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and felt comfortable.

Tommy is the best tour guide. He was able to give a detailed information about the itinerary and indicate the drop off and pick up point clearly. Every person in this tour enjoyed a wonderful trip in Tokyo.

The itinerary was perfect! The schedule was very well-planned, and we were informed of the estimated time for each stop in advance. Yuri, our wonderful guide, provided excellent service with a constant smile, answering all our questions, and waiting for everyone to gather at each stop. We were also lucky enough to see Mount Fuji on this trip, and the fireworks display at the end was spectacular and romantic. If we had traveled on our own, this route would have cost a lot and likely involved many detours. This trip, traveling south along the coastline from Tokyo, was very cost-effective. When we arrived in Atami, we wanted to set off some fireworks ourselves, and Yuri even went to inquire if it was possible, quickly providing a clear answer. It was fantastic!

This time, we specifically chose the Omuroyama cable car, which was the furthest away, and we also happened to catch the first fireworks display of 2026, which was truly spectacular. Today, our tour guide, Yuan, led the group, and the overall itinerary was perfectly arranged, not too rushed, allowing us to stroll leisurely, browse, and fully enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way. The fireworks were displayed from 8:20 PM to 8:40 PM, and there were many Japanese delicacies available in the shopping street.

First, we met at Tokyo Station and took a tour bus to Kamakura, which took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Then, we rode the Enoden train for seven stops to Kamakura Koko-mae Station for a 20-minute photo opportunity. After that, we got off at Enoshima Station and walked to the island. Later, we took the tour bus to Atami. The weather was very hot that day, and our tour guide, Mr. Nakajima, thoughtfully gave everyone an ice pop. After watching the fireworks, and because it was a Japanese holiday, the driver and guide dropped us back at the station at 11:30 PM. We are very grateful to them for leading such a wonderful tour!

The tour was well-planned and we enjoyed it a lot. Our guide was Serina, who explained all the essential information both in Chinese and English and helped us to take photos at the locations. Serina considerately adjusted the activity time based on the group’s needs and made sure everyone returns home safely. The tour included a short break for food and washroom stop, Omuro mountain, and Atami firework festival. Highly recommend to try special sakura and wasabi ice cream at Omuro mountain. The chairlift that is used to get to the top of the mountain doesn’t have glass so it creates a unique experience

Although being nice the guide didn't speak much English, and didn't explain much things, especially in Hakone. We also lost the 90min cruise and only did a 10 minute one because of traffic and people being late on arrival. We were taken to Atami really early and spend 2h waiting for the fireworks, could've used that time in Hakone probably but should have something in between as to not be left 2h in the cold in my opinion. The fireworks are wonderful though, so worth the trip!
