I consider myself lucky to be able to be so see the French Masterpieces from the Robert Lehman Collection at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in a rare exhibition in Taipei. I was in awe to be so close to the art works from various masters. There's a souvenir shop in the venue and I bought hologram postcards which gives off a lifelike and multi dimensional impression. Overall a wonderful and memorable experience.

From Impressionism to Modernism: Masterpieces from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, USA Divided into five sections: Body Postures, Portraits and Figures, Adoration of Nature, From City to Country, and Waterfront Scenery. Renoir has works in most of the exhibition areas, allowing you to see his painting expressions under different themes. His works are easily recognizable and very Renoir-esque. "Young Girls at the Piano" is one of his brightest pieces. Only a study for Seurat's "A Sunday on La Grande Jatte" is exhibited, and it is small. His charcoal drawings are very hazy and very Seurat.

The experience of this visit was great~~ It was unexpected that I could see this type of painting in the Forbidden City. At first, I was attracted by the advertisement on the Internet. The painting exhibition in the Forbidden City is so special🤩 Finally, some personal feelings——I haven’t visited the Forbidden City for many years. My memory is a bit vague, haha, but nothing has changed. I went there by myself and realized that it was so far away👀🤣😌I personally like the last painting very much. The brushstrokes are delicate and the characters are portrayed very delicately🥸

This visit to the special exhibition "From Impressionism to Modernism" jointly organized by the National Palace Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the United States is a feast of both vision and thought. The exhibition presents selected Western paintings from the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the United States from the mid-to-late 19th century to the early 20th century, including representative works from Impressionism, Post-Impressionism to early Modernism. It is a rare cultural experience for me to be able to see these world-class masters' authentic works in Taiwan.

Celebrating the National Palace Museum's centennial anniversary, coupled with the reopening of the renovated Exhibition Hall 2 featuring masterpieces from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, I saw online posts about the terrifying weekend crowds. So, I decided to visit on a weekday – and it was definitely worth it! Avoiding the crowds made for a much better viewing experience. I didn't have to wait long to see the paintings and could move at my own pace 👍🏻. Although this exhibition wasn't without its flaws, such as the distracting reflections above the paintings (from emergency exit lights or similar), poor traffic flow (e.g., the sharp corner right after entering the second exhibition area was extremely crowded, and putting too many famous paintings together caused congestion), and the odd placement of the guidebooks for sale at the ticket counter instead of the gift shop, I still found it incredibly worthwhile to see these artworks in person! Besides the painters I already knew, I discovered several new artists. I especially liked Paul Signac's use of vibrant and lively watercolors to depict still lifes and landscapes, as well as the portrayals of women by the female artists Mary Cassatt and Suzanne Valadon. Although their styles differed, both were delightful and left a lasting impression!

This time, I went to the Forbidden City to visit the "Dialogue and Encounter: Treasures from the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Palace Museum". I really think it was worth the trip! The exhibition presents classic collections from the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Forbidden City in New York. From the intersection of Chinese and Western art, the dialogue of craftsmanship and technology, to the comparison of historical context, it is deeply shocking. The curator is very attentive, the exhibits are clearly divided, and with the lighting and text descriptions, the audience is not just "looking" at the cultural relics, but walking into a dialogue between Eastern and Western civilizations. Whether it is Chinese bronzes and porcelains, or the European paintings and sculptures selected by the Metropolitan Museum, each work is worth savoring. 🔖 It is especially recommended to buy a double ticket! Not only is it more affordable than a single ticket, but you can also watch and chat with your relatives and friends, discuss the details and stories behind each work, making the visiting experience more rich and interesting, and the CP value is really high.

Well curated artworks. The artworks are divided into specific themes. It’s a great chance to see some amazing artworks. you can rent an audio guide in the venue. The venue is a bit tiny though, and can get crowded at certain areas (designated artworks where you can listen to the audio guide). There is also a souveneir store where pieces are quite affordable.

Beyond the must-see masterpieces, all the paintings in this exhibition were equally stunning. I especially enjoyed a few others, repeatedly contemplating the stories behind them and savoring their details after listening to the explanations. I am grateful to the curatorial team for bringing me such wonderful emotions.
