Really awesome, all immersive experience, experienced the Antarctic exploration mountain bike, -18 degrees snowstorm 🌨️, in-depth interaction with Antarctic research dogs 🐩, but also saw a lot of different kinds of little penguins. Also got an in-depth look at what countries are doing in Antarctica for scientific research, which was very knowledgeable. Also enter the raffle 🎟️ with your ticket for a chance to win a free voucher for a trip to Antarctica once!
Fantasic activity, right next to Christchurch airport with ample parking. Friendly and informative staff and a great insight to the studies being completed in Antartica!
The overall experience is good. Although the venue is not large, it is still very rich in content. Some facilities are damaged and have not been repaired, which is innocuous. At the end, our snowmobile schedule for that day is attached for reference only. The only problem was that we arrived late and missed the penguin backstage pass. It happened to be that weekend and the subsequent shows were also full, so we had to waste it. Maybe the 4D theater is older? Although it is effective, it is more deliberate and simple. There is actually a children's room in the venue where you can build building blocks. The children spent a long time building in it.
The International Antarctic Center is a very educational place where people benefit a lot. Not only can they learn about the characteristics and habits of polar creatures here, but they can also understand the relationship and operation between the earth and the sun, so as to have a better understanding of the related issues. Knowledge generates interest, which is a good experience for adults. Taking a polar expedition vehicle is the most exciting activity, and it is a place especially suitable for children to visit.
we had a great time and experienced what is like in antartica. we met a couple of penguins and a husky dog.
If you have time, it’s a place worth visiting! Watch penguins feeding up close, learn about the ecology of the Antarctic Circle and experience snowstorms, have close contact with huskies, and have videos about the ecology of the Antarctic Circle as well as a cool Antarctic Circle work vehicle experience! Note that you have to go in advance to buy tickets from a third party. It takes more than 10 minutes for the counter to connect to the order.
The Antarctic centre gives you an authentic feel of what it is like in the Antarctic, from riding on one of the Haggland, to freezing through a snowstorm, watching the little penguins, and the RD cinema is great too, This was my second visit and I loved the visit and especially seeing the Huskies.
The Antarctic climate experience and penguin feeding are super cute, the Antarctic glacier car is very exciting, and the icebreaker 4D theater is interesting and fun. It is highly recommended for everyone to play when you have time!
