Family of four with teen and gradeschool kids. We did the tour yesterday, and everything went smoothly. I believe it is largely due to fellow passengers of our tour bus being cooperative and on time. Our guide Teddy Chan gave out clear explanation on everything, including tips and directions on how to do the tour depending on your strength level. Plus points is that he sells cold water at only 100¥. He is also very generous in sharing his knowledge, making sure that everyone understands by doing so to our WhatsApp group. Highly recommend this tour!
Kyoto + Nara in one day = sore feet, full camera roll, and zero regrets 😂✨ Kyoto was peaceful and beautiful with all the temples, bamboo forests, and traditional streets, every corner looked postcard-worthy. Then Nara came in with the surprise main characters: the deer 🦌. Cute? Yes. Polite? Absolutely not. One of them literally chased me for crackers like it was personal. 😂 Big shoutout to our guide Willa for keeping everything fun, organized, and stress-free while sharing cool stories and local tips along the way. If you want a day filled with culture, nature, good food, and chaotic deer energy, this tour is 100% worth it. The bamboo forest was definitely the highlight for me, it felt so peaceful and magical 🌿✨ One of my favorite days in Japan!
A fantastic day trip for sightseeing and plenty of time to roam around at each spot, take photos , try the food morkets (cash only) and try on a kimonos. Our coach driver and tour guide (shout out to Sofia! ) were so professional, informative and patient with our big group! Thankyou KLooK for recommending this.
This was a tour that my mother and I truly enjoyed. Every place we visited was beautiful and rich in history, making the experience even more memorable. Our guide, “Aki”, was fantastic—he organized everything so well that the atmosphere throughout the tour was always fun and relaxed. A thoughtful touch was the small sweet snacks he gave everyone at the end of the tour, which we really appreciated. We were able to visit all the popular tourist spots, each one just as beautiful as the last. At every stop, Aki also shared helpful travel tips that made the experience even more enjoyable and informative. Overall, it was a wonderful tour that I would highly recommend.
Self paced with plenty of time to see things of interest. I've been to Nara Park before so headed to Yoskikien Garden instead (free entry). A good amount of time in Arashiyama, although I could easily spend a day or two here exploring. Ended the tour at Fushimi Inari. Note my tour day stops didn't match the published itinerary (stopped at Nara, Arashiyama, Fushimi Inari) but no mention of why. I picked this tour specifically because I wanted to do Arashiyama first but it makes sense on the map
This trip was amazing. Fionna, our guide for this trip, was a phenomenol guide to the expedition. She is expressive with her words, face, and arms; moreover, she gets along with the vibes of the group. She is informative as she gives the background and history of each important landmark in our trip, laid out some important rules and precaution on what to do and not to do during the trip for each important milestone we reached on a trip, and looks out for the wellbeing of us tourist. Additionally, she gives quizzes after the trip which really makes us appreciate the insights we gained from the trip more - she even gave us chocolate candies for answering it correctly! Overall, I say the value was worth it as it as my family of five really had a positive experience of her.
Had a wonderful time yesterday for this Kyoto tour. Steven was cool and has a good command of English. He also gave good tips where we are going. Best memories will be at Arashiyama. I feel even though we are given ample time to explore, it still not enough with all the wonderful beauty its has to offer. I want to go back!
Our tour guide was Tina, and she did an excellent job showing us around and guiding us. She gave a brief overview and lessons of the places before we arrived which was very nice and informative. She provided clear and detailed instructions for how to navigate each site and even walked us to certain spots to give further options for us. Did this all while giving humor and laughs the entire day, highly recommend!
This was an amazing tour! Tina communicated so well before hand and on the tour. She suggested spots to visit, restaurants and shopping with google locations so it was super easy to follow. I am traveling with 2 adults and 2 kids (12 & 8) and they also enjoyed it. 😃
I had a great time and enjoyed the tour. The places we visited were wonderful. Chen-san, our guide, was very nice and quite strict as to time management which is rightly understandable. His suggestions were on point so I suggest you better follow them to avoid wasting time.
