What to expect
Hey friends~ If you're like me and can't resist ancient architecture, natural beauty, and authentic cuisine, then hurry up and get my itinerary! 👇
First Stop: Nara Park, Dance with Deer
Step into Nara Park and interact with the leisurely strolling deer. You can also visit the Great Buddha of Nara and Todai-ji Temple within the park. If you have time, you can also explore Kasuga Taisha Shrine and climb Mount Wakakusa to enjoy nature. The rule for deer cracker giveaways is 1 portion per group. If a group has 4-6 people, 2 portions will be given. Please note that deer crackers are free gifts, and no refunds will be issued if they are sold out. Thank you for your understanding.
Second Stop: Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, the Shock of a Thousand Torii Gates
From Nara Park, Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine is not far. The red torii gate tunnel leading to the mountaintop is simply a visual feast!
Third Stop: Kyoto Arashiyama Area
Not only is the natural scenery here stunning, but the cultural landscape is also incredibly rich! 🌟 During your free time, I highly recommend visiting the following spots!
🚂Sagano Romantic Train: Suggested train times: Saga to Kameoka, Sagano No. 11, 14:05-14:25; Kameoka to Saga, Sagano No. 12, 14:30-14:56. After arriving at Kameoka Station, the return journey starts in about 5 minutes, and you cannot get off midway on the return trip. Small tip: You need to purchase train tickets yourself.
🌿Bamboo Grove Path: Wandering along the Sagano Bamboo Grove Path feels like entering a special healing space! This path, about 500 meters long, is known as one of Japan’s most classic bamboo forest experiences!
🛁Arashiyama Station Foot Bath Onsen: Inside Arashiden Arashiyama Station, there’s a Japanese-style foot bath! The usage fee is 200 yen (including a towel). The foot bath is self-service. First, purchase a ticket at the station information center, which comes with a towel for drying your feet. Please wash your feet before entering the bath; there are washing facilities at the entrance! 🧼
👘Kimono Forest: The Kimono Forest is at Arashiyama Station of the Keifuku Electric Railroad Arashiyama Line, at the entrance of Arashiyama! Here, about 600 lanterns decorated with Kyo-Yuzen fabric are lined up within the station, creating a dreamlike tree-lined path!

sadly the weather wasn't sunny, but we are really grateful for this tour to bring us to 4-5 desired spots within a day! the convenience is much appreciated. also, the tour guide is helpful in being bilingual 🙏🏼
had a really great day, full of must see places and our guide, Lucia, knew how to answer every question we had a recommended a really good place to eat, worth going, at least for the transfer from Osaka to Kyoto
Brought my family for this tour and they absolutely love it! Tour guide Lucia was super helpful and very proactive with the directions/information throughout the day trip. She also provided knowledge on history of Japan which is cool! would recommend 100%
I had an amazing experience booking through Klook! I was able to save a lot of money during my stay in Japan. Booking tickets to Universal Studios was so easy, and the park was incredibly fun! I really love how convenient it is to use Klook — everything was smooth and hassle-free. Definitely looking forward to making more bookings with Klook in the future!
Our tour was thoroughly enjoyable, although the time allotted felt a bit short, especially when traveling with children. Lucia, our tour guide, was exceptional. Her pleasant and accommodating nature, coupled with her wealth of fascinating stories and facts about each location, made the experience truly memorable. Her organizational skills were evident in the clear directions and helpful links she provided for our self-guided portion of the tour. A special thank you to Lucia for the lucky turtle keepsake! We also extend our gratitude to the bus driver for their contribution to a wonderful day.
our tour guide Frederick was so nice and made sure we are always having a good time. he even messaged us if we got home safe! kyoto is such a nice place! would probably DIY a trip here since time is so limited.
We had an incredible experience on our Nara and Kyoto tour. Our guide, Fredrick, made us feel welcome and at ease. He has such a warm and genuine presence, and you can immediately tell how much he loves what he does. He brought each location to life with interesting facts and stories, whether we were walking among the deers at Nara Park, admiring the stunning torii gates, or strolling through the serene Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. It was clear he genuinely cared about giving us the best experience possible. Highly recommend this tour. You won’t be disappointed!
we had a wonderful day with this tour and our tour guide Jack is sharing history of each attractions provide some knowledge before we arrive at each place which is quite helpful although this is not a guided tour. At the Nara, it's quite nice to see the wild deers that free roaming the town quite a scene. second site is Arashiyama it's very beautiful and extremely crowded. we went up to Monkey park the view is awesome and at last our designation is Senbon Torii gates which was breathe taking too. thank you Jack again.
We enjoyed this trip very much. All schedule is on time. Those places we’ve visited are very nice. And our tour guide, Etta, did a very good job. She is very cheerful, full of knowlodge and very patient. We thank you for her great service.
our guide was named Frederick and he was such a polite, respectful and considerate guide. He is very passionate about Japan’s history, culture, and it’s rules and laws. he was always so bubbly and positive and informative and offered to take our photos and made sure we knew when and where to go or meet up again and where the bathrooms are. we were always in the loop how far everything was and where we were going and lots of facts about where we were going. it’s definitely worth the money and I feel like we got to do so much in one day and not have to drive ourselves to each destination on our own.
