Skiing is really not something you can learn just by watching YouTube tutorials. The package I signed up for included all equipment except gloves and a helmet. I recommend renting a helmet, it's only 1500 yen. I think it's really convenient to sign up for this Klook tour. The organizer is a ski equipment rental shop, and they drive you to the ski resort in an SUV and guide you to put on your equipment. The main thing is that the ski instruction is very detailed. The instructor uses multiple languages ​​to explain each movement to you one-on-one and helps you get on track. After practicing in the beginner area, the instructor will assess whether you can ski down from the top. I signed up for the twin-tip ski tour, which has fewer people. There are a lot of snowboarders. The advantage of having fewer people is that the instructor can be there to block you in time in case of danger, and ski down the mountain with you. Although I went on the beginner green line at Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort, some parts of it were still very steep. If you can't make an S-turn, you'll just go straight down like a roller coaster, which is scary. I skied for 45 minutes while falling and learning. I think the experience is great, and I would highly recommend signing up for this tour, regardless of whether you want to develop skiing as a hobby in the future.

He was incredibly patient, explained everything clearly, and was such a great teacher throughout the whole session. Five stars for his dedication—not only did he teach us well, but he also took high-quality videos of us on the slopes so we could relive the fun. This is a very worthwhile ski experience course, perfect for first-timers. The course is well-organized, and special thanks to the twin-tip ski instructor, Aria, for her careful and patient teaching, which made the whole learning and experience process very reassuring and brought this ski experience to a perfect end. Safety is the most important thing in skiing, and this course includes all the necessary ski equipment, which is very friendly to beginners. You only need to prepare a warm face mask and thick socks yourself. The overall experience is very relaxed and burden-free, and it is worth recommending.

Our teacher Arya is very skilled, professional and generally awesome! She was very patient with us and she really taught us how to ski and was very hands on. She helped us get up when we fell down and I was surprised how to strong she was. She took great pics of us as well and we very much enjoyed our skiing day! Thank you so much to all the staff!

As complete beginners who had never tried snowboarding before, we were honestly quite nervous at first. However, Xunxun (询询) was incredibly kind and patient throughout the entire session. She taught us a lot of useful techniques, from how to control the snowboard to how to protect ourselves when falling. Beyond just the technical skills, she also provided amazing emotional support, making us feel comfortable and less afraid. Me and my husband had the best time even though we are just a beginner with zero knowledge in ski. Coach Aria is really the best teacher if you have no knowledge and no experience in skiing. She is very very very patient with me and my husband. She always ensure we are always okay and safe. We find it reassuring to have Coach Aria who teach us the basic in ski and because of our great experience, we will surely book again next winter vacation to have another ski experience again. We hope Coach Aria will still be our coach next time. Thank you also to Coach Aria for our beautiful pictures and videos. Very highly recommended and a foreigner friendly activity.

Me and my husband enjoyed the snowboarding session a lot! Our instructor, Mio/Ah Miao, was very patient and encouraging, despite us being beginners. His instructions was very clear and concise. We were able to snowboard within a few hours of practicing. Mio also took lots of photos and videos for us. It was really a very memorable experience! The premium package is also very convenient, as everything from transportation to the equipment were well prepared for us. The ratio of trainer to students was also just nice. Strongly recommend for beginners! The only feedback was that the gathering point is rather chaotic as people going to another ski resort were also instructed to meet there. It was a small meeting point, and things became very messy as there were too many people. Will suggest to have better and clearer process for the gathering point.

Our instructor CC was the best. he spoke english well and was able to teach us newbies to snowboarding the basics like within an hour. he promised that if we did well, he will be confident to bring us down the slopes for the afternoon session which we did! he even thought us a little more intermediate stuff. we can tell that he had a real passion for teaching as he made the teaching session engaging and fun right from the start during the warmups. he also made sure all of us went at the speed of the slowest guy so as to ensure safety and didnt make them feel left behind or pressured to perform well. he checked in on us from time to tome and especially if we fall. all around a really cool guy and the best intructor we could have asked for. definitely will come back cos of CC!
