Taipei: Tufting Rug Workshop

Grateful to the gentleman who guide my boy in English. Though he was busy packing (closing down month end) he still come over and make sure he is OK. We enjoyed tremendously.

It was my first time making a carpet by hand, and there were professional teachers on site to teach and guide me. The venue is spacious, so you don’t have to worry about bumping into students next door. The teacher will confirm with us the drawings we want to draw in advance to improve the completeness of the work, which makes me feel at ease. I recommend friends who haven’t tried it yet to come and make your own handmade carpet!

Awesome handcraft activity if you have a few hours to spend with your friends in Taipei! 1. The place is quite easy to access for travelers (although I wish they have more signs so ppl know they are there hid on the B3 floor in a commercial building) 2. Mattress making itself is newby-friendly and stress-reliefing. 3. I went with my friends on weekends; it's not crowded at all and unexpectedly spacious! I'm surprised it's not already a popular place because we had a lot of fun. 4. Teachers are very nice and help you with the difficult stuff. 5. If I have one thing to suggest, they could design more fun drawings to choose from for 20×20 since most beginners start there?

I had a really enjoyable time crafting at Arts Plus Social! The teachers are friendly and skillful. They have art classes ranging from tufting to knitting of bags, with wide range of materials for selection. Highly recommend if you would like to spend some quality time crafting in Taipei!

It was the first time to make a carpet by hand. It was a little more difficult than expected. It is suitable for those who like hand-making. It took a total of 4 hours. The teacher will also help in a timely manner. Remember not to be too tight and leave some time.

There are multiple colors to choose from, and the service staff is very careful and serious in their explanations and instructions. It's a very fun experience, and the price is relatively cheap. Highly recommended to come and experience it.

Highly recommend giving this a try – it's a really fun activity! Beginners should choose the smallest size; it's just enough to satisfy your creative urges without making your hands too sore. Everything is just right! This activity is perfect for company team building or participating with a few close friends.
