Port Stephens Activity Tour

I took the Newcastle & Port Stephens tour during my winter trip to Sydney and was extremely satisfied. First, on the dolphin cruise, the staff continuously helped us spot dolphins, so we were able to see several up close, more than I expected. I think we saw about seven dolphins, and the sea breeze was refreshing, which was nice. I usually get seasick easily, but it wasn't severe, so I enjoyed it comfortably. As soon as we arrived for sand sledding, the guide took many photos for us. We took pictures holding a flag and a koala plushie, and the koala plushie was so cute I almost wanted to buy it. Sledding was more thrilling and fun than I expected, but climbing the sand dunes repeatedly was quite tiring. Still, the view of the desert-like sand dunes and the ocean together was truly beautiful. Oakvale Wildlife Park was the best zoo I've ever visited. We could get close to the animals, feed them directly, and see koalas up close, which was great. There were also many kangaroos, and I was lucky enough to see a baby kangaroo in its pouch, which made it even more memorable. Overall, the itinerary was packed, and most importantly, I felt that the guide was dedicated to taking photos and making an effort to show us as much as possible. Thanks to them, it was a tour where I made many wonderful memories. I highly recommend it!

The kids were excited about coming on a long trip… They took a picture of the dolphin watching spot right in front of them, and I saw dolphins swimming properly. I had never ridden a fine sand sled before… The Port Stephens kids, who said it was like the Uyuni Desert, had a hard time going up, but they slid down a few sides. They saw and touched the kangaroos and koalas they had only seen in photo albums and paintings with their own eyes… and even fed them… They were amazed, saying they were seeing things like this in person. Thank you to our Juno guide, who made sure we saw and played well throughout the tour.

From 7am to 6pm, thanks to our cheerful guide Eddie, it was so fun and not boring. From the introduction of the landmarks and history we passed by, to the exciting music when we arrived at the spot, to the sense of selecting relaxing music while the travelers were resting, to the professional force in the desert, to taking great photos and videos, and to giving us many tips so that we could move efficiently without wasting time, we were really full and had fun. He took good care of families with children and solo travelers, and answered all our questions about life and photo requests. Thank you for the quiz event, Sydney travel tips, and gifts!! I will add some of my personal thoughts. 1) The coffee at the restaurant/store at the dolphin cruise dock is good. 2) On the dolphin cruise, the dolphins come very close, right under the cruise. I recommend that you do not go up to the second floor, but hold on to the railing at the front of the deck and watch. 3) On windy days, even if the sun is warm, it is cold on the cruise. Bring a windbreaker. (As of early April) 4) If you have long hair, it would be good to bring a comb because it will be messy after being exposed to the wind on the cruise. 5) Sandboarding is not a board you stand on, but a sled you sit on. They tell you to prepare sandals or slippers, but I recommend just taking off your shoes and playing. The sand is fine, so it doesn't hurt and it's not too hot. (As of early April) 6) You'll be in the desert for about an hour, so you'll feel it getting hot in real time, so you'll definitely need to apply sunblock. However, there will be a lot of sand on your face and arms, so it would be better to spray it on rather than applying it like a cream or stick. 7) Don't worry about the photos because the guide takes them so well. It's a matter of personal preference, but I think it looks good to wear slim clothes for both men and women. 8) You can eat sand. People don't just eat sand, they eat phones and bags, so if you start shaking it off, it will come out endlessly. Be prepared. 9) They say it's good to prepare a towel to shake off or wipe the sand. I forgot, but it didn't really matter. 10) You can meet koalas and kangaroos very close at the zoo. You can't hug them, but they feed them and take pictures without any additional fees. 11) Oakvale is not very big, but if you want to walk around every corner, don't sprinkle too much food on the herbivores at the beginning. 12) The lawn is also the animals' toilet. Look carefully and be careful with sandals or slippers.

There were other tours with lots of reviews, but I wasn't interested in wineries, so I chose this tour, which had few reviews on Klook, and I'm very satisfied! It was an enjoyable all-day tour. The guide explained Australia's history and gave us a lot of recommendations for things to eat and do in Sydney. The know-how of the owner, who has lived in Australia for 20 years, stands out~ Dolphin Cruise! I didn't have high expectations, but I saw a lot of them, probably because there were so many of them. It was a very windy day with big waves, and the sea had turned over the previous day, making the water murky, but I saw more than seven right under my nose! You could even see what the pores looked like. There are a lot more if you include dolphins that are a bit further away. The guide will give you a tip before riding, so please follow it. Sandboarding allows you to take a lot of great photos and is fun. When you arrive, the owner gives you a brightly colored national flag blanket and takes a photo for you. It comes out really pretty. It's so much fun and a good tactile play, but on windy days, sand gets in your mouth! I recommend wearing sunglasses if possible and a mask when riding! Take them off only to take pictures. Sand gets on your socks while you get off the bus and walk, so I personally recommend taking off your socks on the bus and changing into slippers or sandals. Just wear slippers and take them off at the sledding spot. It was also nice to be able to feed and pet the free-ranging kangaroos at Oakvale Zoo. We were looking forward to seeing the quokka in person, but unfortunately the quokka went to the hospital on the day we went. Still, we were satisfied because the guide provided all the food and we were able to interact with the animals that were just wandering around. If you want to make the most of your Port Stephens tour, I highly recommend this place! It was a satisfactory route. +If you don't like bibimbap, I recommend eating freely but eating lightly. I also ate freely, and although I thought I had chosen a simple menu, it took longer than expected. Try searching for a nearby restaurant in advance! I searched in advance and went to the restaurant I chose right away, but because it was a national holiday, all the nearby restaurants were closed, so it took up all my time.

We are having a wonderful tour with Eric the guide!! We joined as a family trip with two elementary school boys, and the guide ran the tour very thoughtfully, shared lots of entertaining stories, and greeted us brightly throughout, making our trip such a pleasant experience. Perhaps because of that, the weather, which was supposed to rain, turned out to be great. The brunch at Nelson Bay was wonderful, and the sandboarding that the kids were eagerly waiting for was also fantastic. The zoo will probably be great too haha. My older son went sandboarding 10 times, that's amazing~~ It's my first time seeing someone guide while driving, it's impressive, thank you!! Leaving with such a great first experience in Sydney~~!

The guide was also kind, and the entire tour was fun and comfortable!!! The desert tour was hot, but it was a refreshing experience, and it was so much fun to be able to see and touch Australia's representative animals up close!!! ㅎㅎ

I went on the Unlimited Australia Tour and the Nelson Bay Port Stephens Oakvale Wildlife Park Tour~ I really liked the relaxing atmosphere and local feel of Nelson Bay, and above all, the breathtaking natural scenery and fine sand of Port Stephens, and they took great pictures, so it was really fun. The animals at the zoo were so cute that I lost track of time! Take a look at the koala photos, I could even touch them.

Since it was a trip with my parents and three generations of children, there were a lot of things to consider. I didn't think it would be too tailored to the kids, and I thought the kids would get bored with a tour that was too static. After thinking about it a lot, I found a tour that was perfect for our three generations! I made a reservation for Port Stephens on a flexible schedule and spoke to the counselor, and an additional activity was booked. So, everyone went on a dolphin cruise, and only the kids enjoyed sand sledding, and during that time, my parents and I went on a camel experience. Oh, and my parents had a hard time with the meal, but fortunately we were able to add bibimbap to the meal, so the whole family ate it deliciously and filling up. On my way back to Sydney, I went to Oakvale Zoo. Before going, I was worried because the reviews said that if you go in the afternoon, the kangaroos will sleep and you won't be able to see the koalas, but somehow, everyone had a great time, fed them and took pictures. All three generations were satisfied. Touring is really difficult, right? However, the guide was so cheerful and humorous that I couldn't stop laughing throughout the tour, and it was a great tour because the course could be adjusted to suit each individual!

Before the trip, they told me the schedule and meeting place in advance through KakaoTalk, and they contacted me in advance to see if I needed a child car seat, which made me feel very reassured. If you have a child who loves animals, I highly recommend Oakvale!! This is my third zoo in Australia, and this is the one where I could touch the animals the closest and spend a leisurely time with them~ Quokka, llama, camel, sheep, goat, koala, kangaroo, etc. This is the best!! They gave me plenty of animal food, so my child was really satisfied and had fun~~ In particular, touching the koala's butt was the best~ Danny, our guide for the Australian Infinite Tour~ He took so many pictures for us when we were riding the desert sled, and even though our battery died while we were filming a video of dolphins~ He lent us a charging cable, so we could comfortably charge it on the bus and take lots of pictures of kangaroos and koalas.
