Slightly cheaper than buying directly on JR West offices. This pass covers going to Tottori and even Matsue, Izumo, Kurashiki, Okayama. Definitely worth it if you plan to travel far away and uses lots of limited express trains or even the shinkansen
I exchanged my physical voucher at Okayama Station, which was very convenient. Since there's no limit to the number of times you can reserve seats with this voucher, I almost always took reserved seats. Okayama - Yonago - Sakaiminato - Izumo - Tottori - Kobe. Highly recommended.
This pass was very convenient, allowing us to travel all over Okayama, Tottori, and Himeji, and even take it back to Kansai Airport on the last day. We definitely made full use of it.
The 7-day JR West Kansai-San'in Area Pass offers excellent value for money; it pays for itself after just a few rides. It can be used in Kansai, Tottori, Yonago, Kurayoshi, and Kyoto. You can reserve seats either manually or via machine, making it convenient and fast. It's definitely worth the price.
This fare is definitely worth it for visiting both San'in and Okayama, and you can also make a side trip to Himeji. Additionally, Mount Shosha Engyo-ji Temple is highly recommended.
Being able to ride the Shinkansen continuously is really great, saving time and effort. I was very lucky this time to ride the One Piece Shinkansen and the Kitty Shinkansen.
You can check the JR official website for your desired itinerary before placing your order. You can cancel before redeeming, but there will be a handling fee on the same day. You can also ride the Shinkansen (bullet train)! A tip: you can reserve and redeem reserved seats at the machine up to 6 times. After that, you'll need to go to the manned counter. It's recommended to redeem your pass early, as the manned counters at major stations usually require a numbered ticket and a wait, which could delay your trip. If you don't need a reserved seat, you don't need to go to the manned counter. Redemption Guide: There's a convenient tutorial on how to redeem the JR Pass directly on the details page.
Unlimited JR train rides with unlimited reserved seat bookings. Perfect for itineraries that involve a lot of travel. You can make reservations at the ticket window or using the ticket machine.
If there aren't any direct flights to the San'in region and you're planning to go there, this pass is a must-buy, it's very cost-effective! But please note that some JR lines are not included, especially if you're taking the Nozomi from San'in to Kyoto, the section from Shin-Osaka to Kyoto is not included, and you will need to pay extra when exiting the gate.
Redemption was quick and easy. I redeemed mine at KIX arrival hall. The instructions provided by Klook for booking a reserved seat through machine is also easy to follow.
