We were hosted by tour guide Eiichi (conversant with English, mandarin and of cos Japanese). He was very friendly and started off the tour by introducing about some Japanese history and culture and also gave us some background about the places we were going to visit. He also gave some personal food recommendations at some of the stopover points. Despite not being able to visit the Mt Aso crater (due to local govt restrictions) the shrine visit was made in place of that. Overall a great tour experience coupled with Eiichi's knowledge as a guide and also kudos to the driver Shimizu who drove us safely and timely to all the places of attraction. Definitely a value for money package! Look no further. Note : Visited on 17 Oct 2026. weather on the warmer side but beautiful nonetheless

Really enjoyed this day trip to Takachiho Gorge and Mount Aso! 😊 Our tour guide, Li Hong, was wonderful! She was cheerful, friendly and shared lots of interesting stories throughout the journey, making the long drives enjoyable. She also took very good care of everyone and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. Highly recommend this tour as getting around these attractions on your own can be quite troublesome, as they involve a lot of driving mountainous and windy roads. Having everything arranged made the experience so much more relaxing. We also ended our trip with a delicious Akaushi beef meal at Kusasenri, which was a lovely bonus! 🥩 Overall, a very enjoyable and well-organised experience. Would definitely recommend!

the tour was extremely organized. the line up of places are nice and not tiring. the whole day was packed but enough to enjoy everything. also, daisy (our guide) is the best tour guide! we apparently booked 2 days with her and shes truly amazing! she speaks both mandarin and english fluently. shes super hands on sending us messages of her food and place recommendations. she also gave us a little gift as a goodbye. shes really nice and such a smiley face. 😊 would love to book with her again next time.

Guide Cloud (小雲) was really very patient, helpful and informative. Was worried that the tour might be rushed but we do have sufficient time at each stop. She will give us tips at different stops on how to take photos & her food recommendations were all solid. I really appreciate that she spent time to talk to all group members to get to know us better. One of the best day tour we had! Also have to thank Mr Teng (our driver) who ensures that we are all safe and on time for our schedule!

had a beautiful and amazing day visiting Yufuin, Beppu, Kinrin Lake, and Dazaifu! was the only English-speaking guest on the tour, while most of the other guests were part of the Chinese-speaking group. But thanks to our wonderful tour guide, Nana, I never felt left out or like I was on my own. Nana-san translated everything for me in English, took my phone number just in case I got or lost, made sure I had a comfy seat, and constantly checked that I was okay. She was so warm, funny, and genuinely thoughtful. She even reco a great place for ice cream at Honeybees! It honestly felt like I had my own little travel buddy for the day My fave part of the trip was Kinrin Lake. I was honestly amazed by how beautiful it was Beppu was also incredible. we couldn’t go on the Beppu Ropeway because of the weather, Dazaifu was under construction during my visit. Yufuin was probably the least enjoyable part for me because it felt quite touristy and crowded ended up having such a wonderful time.

A wonderful day trip! Mount Aso is overwhelmingly beautiful—truly fitting as Misae Nohara's hometown. Kamishikimi Kumanoimasu Shrine is extremely photogenic. Having visited many hot spring towns, Kurokawa Onsen also has its own unique charm. By the river, there are 200-yen self-service open-air baths for men and women, where you can enjoy river views and the gentle sound of flowing water. Special shout-out to our tour guide, Mr. Sun Peng, who was incredibly entertaining and kept us laughing the whole way. Also, kudos to every member of the group for being well-mannered and punctual—we were the first to depart and the first to arrive at every attraction, making for a truly fantastic experience. Finally, wishing Mr. Sun good luck in guiding Stefanie Sun someday, hahaha! Ramble: The Adult Pudding in South Aso is seriously amazing! Now I finally know why it's called Adult Pudding—it's made with rum, giving it a very unique and wonderfully surprising texture.

it’s a very good experience and easy to get into the place with lots of fun knowledge. the tour guide arranged the timing well and didn’t waste any of the time waiting anything. so I will highly recommend to join the tour if you don’t want to drive yourself from other places.

Ito ay isang kasiya-siyang paglalakbay. Bagama't umuulan nang bahagya, hindi nito naapektuhan ang pangkalahatang ruta ng paglilibot. Napakalinaw ng paliwanag ng aming tour guide na si Yang Liu, at gumamit siya ng malaking karatula para sa oras ng pagtitipon, na napakalinaw. Sapat naman ang oras namin sa Yufuin, at nakabisita kami sa Owl Museum. Hindi ko inakala na napakaraming kuwago doon, at puwede pa naming hawakan ang mga ito at kumuha ng maraming litrato. Ito ay isang napakagandang karanasan. Pagkatapos, pumunta kami sa Beppu Kamado Jigoku, kung saan bawat isa sa amin ay nakakuha ng isang hot spring egg. Sumunod ay ang Dazaifu Tenmangu. hedi was one of the best guide we ever travelled with. she explains things well and even tried to explain in English to a Chinese family despite being a native from China. she is also very helpful, even helped us to make dinner reservations. highly recommended. however, I think Yufuin and the hot spring can skip. nothing fanciful. the zoo is the highlight.
