I paid an extra 150 NTD to upgrade to an electric bike. I'm glad I did because there were quite a few hills, so it might have been a little tough on a regular bike! The best thing was that there were several return locations. Google Maps only showed one location, but there were a total of 4 locations where you could return it. Madaling pamamaraan; ipakita ang QR code sa may-ari ng tindahan. Tandaan na ang daan ay maaaring maging lubhang mapanganib dahil ito ay may maraming pataas at pababang mga bakuran. Maging listo sa paligid at magmaneho nang ligtas. Inirerekomenda ko na i-book lamang ang karanasang ito kung tiwala ka sa pagmamaneho ng de-kuryenteng scooter kung hindi naman, ang paglalakad sa paligid ng lugar ay maganda rin.

First of all, a big thank you to our tour guide Mr. Ken today! Mr. Ken is professional, humorous, and funny, and his time management was excellent. Because it was drizzling and foggy today, he suggested switching the itinerary and going to the farm in the morning and Sun Moon Lake in the afternoon. Unexpectedly, Sun Moon Lake was indeed closed in the morning due to fog! Thank you, Mr. Ken, for saving our trip. Mr. Ken's driving skills are excellent, and we didn't feel car sick or dizzy on the bus. Along the way, he kept explaining the roadside scenery and local culture and stories in a very interesting way. He also reminded us which local specialties were worth buying and recommended delicious and affordable restaurants for us to eat at. Mr. Ken even collected the leftover bones from our meals to feed the dogs on the downhill road. He's a very, very kind and funny tour guide! Although the weather wasn't great, the day's itinerary was very fulfilling and enjoyable. If I come to Sun Moon Lake a second time, I will choose Mr. Ken as my tour guide again. Highly recommended!!!

Si Joseph ay isang mahusay na tour guide. Mahusay niyang pinamahalaan ang oras at ipinaliwanag nang maaga kung bakit kailangan naming sumunod sa iskedyul. Nagpaliwanag siya ng kaunti tungkol sa kasaysayan ng Taiwan at mga impormasyon tungkol sa Sun Moon Lake nang hindi labis na impormasyon. Binigyan niya kami ng sapat na oras upang gumala at nag-alok ng isang mahusay na meal box sa halagang 200NTD. Ang highlight ay ang pagbibisikleta na nagdala sa amin sa isang magandang tanawin. Mas naging maganda ito dahil sa maaraw na panahon na may malamig na hangin. Salamat, Joseph.

This tour is easy enough that you can return on time even if you only understand Chinese numbers. It's a shame you can't understand the location descriptions, but it doesn't have a big impact on the tour itself. I didn't want to go to Rainbow Village, so I applied for the Chinese tour on Klook, and they picked me up from the hotel on time, and provided simple guidance using Papago for Korean translation. They also took pictures for me and I could receive restaurant information in the group Line chat. It was more convenient because the guide sent the photos via KakaoTalk. The weather was disappointing due to rain and clouds, but I would like to try again if I come to Taichung again. Umbrellas and water were prepared in the car, so I didn't have to bring them separately. However, if you speak Chinese, take the back seat of the 9-seater van as the front seat hurts your legs and back. There is much more space. Even if the departure is not confirmed on the Klook date, it seemed like they combined it with reservations from other sites for transportation. Please keep this in mind when booking. I recommend it for its cost-effectiveness and ease of transportation!

This is a special journey for us. Not only can we visit scienc spots outside the city, but we also can experience the reality firsthand which feels very different from appreciating it on a website. The driver + guide is excellent in providing us a clear explanation and suggestions.
