Nantou Mga biyahe sa araw

Nagkaroon ako ng napakagandang oras nang hindi gaanong nag-iisip. Ang tour na ito ay mas pinadali ang aking paglalakbay. Nakasalo ako sa isang Chinese meal kasama ang mga estranghero. Ang tour guide, si Dunken, ay nakakatawa at napaka-atento rin. Sa pangkalahatan, isa itong magandang karanasan sa Taichung.

It was nice to have Cipher as a tour guide who was knowledgeable on the history of the Sun Moon Lake. The travel time is quite long but it was worth it. Would’ve liked to have more time to stay and explore the area. Probably better to stay nearby like Taichung to be able to have more time to roam around the area and explore the bicycle path.

Never thought the Qingjing farm has really cool and nice weather. Definitely the highlight of the trip! We were even able to see 2 shows. Sun Moon Lake boat trip was really relaxing. The Old English Manor was really picturesque! We had a great time!

Highly recommended for Koreans!!!!!! The Korean-language tour wasn't available on the date I wanted, so I ended up choosing this tour instead, and it was such a great choice!!! First of all, it was so nice that they picked us up directly from our hotel instead of having us gather at a meeting point haha. The tour was held privately with just 6 people in total—me, my mom (2 people), and a Chinese family of 4. The car was super spacious and air-conditioned, which was great! The driver couldn't speak Korean, but he explained everything well using a translator and some English haha. What truly touched me was that I had lost my wallet at the night market the day before T.T. When the driver heard about that, he said that after the tour ended, he would go with me to the night market to ask the vendors, kept calling the police station in between to check if any lost items had been turned in, and even offered to go with me to the police station to help file a report after the tour. We didn't end up going because we figured we wouldn't find it even if we went to the night market T.T., but he kept trying to help us, which really touched both me and my mom haha. Also, the Chinese family traveling with us translated between the driver and us in English and even bought us drinks lol. They were worried about my lost wallet together with us! Anyway, I had a total mental breakdown the day before after losing my wallet, all my exchanged cash, and several cards, but during the tour, my mind actually eased up, and I met good people and had a wonderful tour!!! I didn't know ferry tickets were included, but they were! The price is also reasonable, so Korean folks planning to visit Sun Moon Lake and Gaomei Wetlands, please use this tour!!!!! The itinerary proceeded as follows: a huge temple at Sun Moon Lake ➡️ Sun Moon Lake Visitor Center? (cool and good for a short rest) ➡️ Sun Moon Lake ferry (basic 3-stop course) ➡️ pineapple cake shop (no purchase required, has a restroom) ➡️ Gaomei Wetlands, and they dropped us off right in front of our hotel at the end haha. Oh, and you can use WhatsApp for communication before the tour~~

Very thoughtful. We received photos of the meeting place and the vehicle the day before, which gave us peace of mind to arrive early at the designated spot and wait. Along the way, we stopped at several classic locations for restroom breaks, stargazing, and altitude acclimatization to prevent altitude sickness, with each stop lasting about 10 minutes. The starry sky was breathtaking, and the Milky Way was visible. It would have been even better if we could have stayed a bit longer at one of the stops to take photos and enjoy the view. By the way, while enjoying the scenery, I would prefer the driver not smoke nearby, as we only wanted to breathe in the fresh air in the mountains. However, the driver knew very well which spots offered the best views. The sunrise viewing location was in an unexpected spot that probably only the driver knew about. There were only two vans' worth of people watching the sunrise there, so we didn't have to deal with crowds. It was simply wonderful!

Madali lang hanapin ang meeting point at kahit walang tour guide na kasama sa day tour na ito, napaka-self-sufficient nito. Masaya ang tour sa Sun Moon Lake na may maraming pagpipilian ng pagkain. Ngunit para sa mga gustong mag-explore sa isla sa pamamagitan ng cable car, ferry o bus, maaaring hindi sapat ang half day tour na ito. Ang natitirang kalahating araw ay para bisitahin ang isang chocolate factory, huminto para sa donuts sa isang cafe at bumisita sa Paper Dome.

Naakit ako sa pagkakasama ng forest railway kaya nag-book ako ng 2-araw, 1-gabing biyahe sa Alishan (papunta: kotse, pabalik: kotse + tren). Pagkatapos makumpirma ang booking, nakatanggap ako ng impormasyon sa LINE tungkol sa mga kailangan dalhin at mga paalala. Bago ang biyahe, nakatanggap din ako ng detalyadong impormasyon tulad ng meeting place, pangalan ng driver, at plate number ng sasakyan, na nakapagbigay sa akin ng kapanatagan. (Bagama't lahat ay nasa Chinese, nagamit ko ang translation software para maintindihan.) Ang mga dokumentong ibinigay sa akin pagpasok sa sasakyan ay mayroon ding Japanese na bersyon, kaya madali itong intindihin. Ang gabay ay nagsasalita ng Chinese, kaya kailangan kong ipatranslate ito, ngunit sa loob ng 2-oras na hiking, maraming oras para sa paliwanag, at ang daanan ay maayos na gawa sa kahoy at bato, kaya kahit ako na walang gaanong lakas ay nakapaglakad nang maayos kahit umuulan. Isang paalala: kung gagamit ka ng kotse (private transfer), mataas ang posibilidad na mahilo ka dahil sa paikot-ikot na daan sa bundok na may matarik na kurbada. Our guide/driver 范先生 (Mr Fan) was amazing. He planned the trip very smoothly. It was very enjoyable to experience sun moon lake in different situations/activities. He even offered to drop us off at different locations that were on the way back to the city. His service is 5⭐️ our only regret is not leaving him a little gift to show how much we appreciate his work.

We had a wonderful day trip from Taipei to Sun Moon Lake! 🌊 The journey was around 3 hours each way, so it was a long day, but the breathtaking scenery made it absolutely worthwhile. The lake was extremely beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. A special thank you to our tour guide, Tommy, who was so friendly, helpful and welcoming throughout the trip. He made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Although the travel time was quite long, Sun Moon Lake is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommend this day trip to anyone visiting Taiwan! ❤️
