Saker att göra i Penghu

When visiting Penghu, a trip to Jibei Island is a must, especially for families with children. The boat ride is only 20 minutes, so you won't get seasick. We chose the 10:30 AM departure and 4:00 PM return. Since this tour only offers fixed times, it felt a bit long for us as we didn't participate in any water activities, but it was still very worthwhile!

This was such a unique experience! Loved it! I would highly recommend this as an activity to do one evening!

Everything was very pleasant. Although we originally booked for 7:40 PM, they called us in advance to ask if we wanted to move the time up because there weren't enough people. We agreed, and actually, watching the sunset at 6:30 PM was perfect. We also enjoyed a relaxing evening of squid fishing. The crew members were all very polite and always smiling. My children were more interested in the video games, but at least it offered another option. The boat was really new, beautiful, and very clean. The squid noodles had just the right amount of salt and were delicious, and there were also jelly and brown sugar cakes. All the passengers were quite well-behaved and not noisy, creating a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, which we were very lucky to experience. Also, each fishing rod was prepared for us, and they looked very neat, which was nice. Even though no one on the boat caught any squid, the sea breeze was very pleasant, and it wasn't too hot. With the gentle sunset, I think this experience was truly wonderful.

Samlingstiden var 20 minuter före avgång, planerad till 7:40, men vi åkte faktiskt 8:00... eftersom vi väntade på en gruppresenärer... Det fanns en guide på båten som följde med oss, till exempel kunde vi boka en tid för en guidad tur med henne, servicen var ganska bra. Men på återresan under kryssningen runt de små öarna gavs ingen information!? Vi stannade 1,5 timme vid Dongjiyu och 3 timmar vid Qimei (inklusive lunch på egen hand), vilket var gott om tid! Mycket bra – hela öhoppningsdagen var inte dyr, rekommenderas! 👍

Penghu Aquarium is definitely worth a visit; I highly recommend the diver feeding show, it's spectacular. It's perfect for families to take photos and see marine life. As an indoor attraction with air conditioning, you don't have to worry about sun exposure, making it a nice and comfortable outing. The kids loved it and had a great time. It was really cool to even see giant groupers.

På Qimei Island valde vi bussen. Det var en rymlig, luftkonditionerad stor buss, mycket bekväm. Tiden vid varje sevärdhet var 15-30 minuter, vilket var tillräckligt. Vi kunde ta bilder och det var effektivt. Bussföraren berättade om sevärdheterna som en guide medan han körde. Denna tur är inte för utlänningar utan ges endast på kinesiska. Jag är japan och kan bara tillräckligt med kinesiska för att förstå samlingstiderna, men jag kunde delta i turen utan problem. Båten har fria platser. När man förflyttar sig från ö till ö får man sitta igen enligt principen först till kvarn. Genom att komma i god tid före samlingstiden kan man välja sin favoritplats.
