Penghu Aquarium is definitely worth a visit; I highly recommend the diver feeding show, it's spectacular. It's perfect for families to take photos and see marine life. As an indoor attraction with air conditioning, you don't have to worry about sun exposure, making it a nice and comfortable outing. The kids loved it and had a great time. It was really cool to even see giant groupers.

Alt var meget behageligt. Selvom vi oprindeligt havde bestilt kl. 19:40, ringede de på forhånd for at spørge, om vi ville flytte tiden frem, da der ikke var nok deltagere. Vi sagde ja, og kl. 18:30 var faktisk et rigtig godt tidspunkt at se solnedgangen på. Derefter var der også den afslappende aften med at fange blæksprutter. Besætningen var meget høflig og smilende. Mine børn var mere interesserede i videospil, men det var i det mindste en ekstra mulighed. Båden var virkelig ny, smuk og meget ren. Blækspruttenudlerne havde den perfekte saltmængde og smagte fantastisk, og der var også gelé og brun farin-kage. De andre passagerer var alle meget velopdragne og larmede ikke, så hele atmosfæren var meget afslappet og behagelig – vi var virkelig heldige. Hver fiskestang var også klargjort for os, og det hele så meget organiseret og behageligt ud. Selvom ingen på båden fangede noget, var havbrisen meget behagelig, og det var slet ikke kedeligt. Med den svage solnedgangsudsigt synes jeg, at denne oplevelse var helt fantastisk.

Mødetiden var 20 minutter før afgang, planlagt til 7:40, men vi tog afsted kl. 8:00... fordi vi ventede på en gruppe turister... Der var en guide om bord, som fulgte med os, for eksempel aftalte vi et tidspunkt for en guidet tur med hende, og servicen var ret god. Men på hjemturen blev de små øer ikke præsenteret!? Vi stoppede 1,5 time ved Dongjiyu og 3 timer ved Qimei (inklusive frokost på egen hånd), hvilket var rigeligt med tid! Meget godt – hele øhop-dagsturen var heller ikke dyr, kan klart anbefales! 👍

On Qimei Island, we chose to take the bus. It was a spacious, air-conditioned coach, which was very comfortable. We had 15-30 minutes at each scenic spot, which was plenty of time to take photos, and the tour was very efficient. The bus driver also acted as a tour guide, providing commentary while driving. Please note that this tour is not designed for foreigners and commentary is only provided in Chinese. As a Japanese speaker with only enough Chinese to understand meeting times, I was still able to participate in the tour without any issues. Seating on the ferry is open, and when traveling between islands, it's first-come, first-served again. Arriving earlier than the designated meeting time allows you to choose your preferred seat.

When visiting Penghu, a trip to Jibei Island is a must, especially for families with children. The boat ride is only 20 minutes, so you won't get seasick. We chose the 10:30 AM departure and 4:00 PM return. Since this tour only offers fixed times, it felt a bit long for us as we didn't participate in any water activities, but it was still very worthwhile!

This was such a unique experience! Loved it! I would highly recommend this as an activity to do one evening!
