Chiang Mai Airport rundturer

More than a sunrise tour, this half day was truly meaningful, and our guide James was the highlight! We started by buying food to give dana (alms) at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, passing the statue of the monk who raised funds to build the mountain road. James used to be a monk, so he explained the Buddha's story, the temple murals and the meaning of the pillar decorations. The sunrise was stunning, with the whole city below as James shared each temple's story. Wat Pha Lat is a peaceful hidden gem. Through his connections with the monks, James gave us real insight into monastic life and the meaning behind the nagas, tigers and deities. Our favourite was Wat Umong. We tried local instruments and drinks at a small event and explored the meditation tunnels a king built for a revered monk (with cute bats inside!). It felt like visiting historic Lanna temples with an actual monk by your side. Highly recommended, and James is the best guide!

A waterfall well worth visiting. Since I was the only passenger that day, it felt like I had chartered a private vehicle to the waterfall. The driver was extremely friendly and brought his grandchildren along, making it feel just like going on a fun trip to the waterfall with their family—a very heartwarming experience. The timing of our arrival was just right; right after we finished enjoying the waterfall, it started to rain, adding a refreshing coolness to the return trip. Definitely a well-deserved five-star review, highly recommended.

We had a group size of 8 with people from 3 different countries! Our guide shared some history of Chiang Mai and of the 2 temples we were visiting. Duration was just right and thankful for the transportation to and from hotel!

Jag uppskattade verkligen min rundtur till Long Neck-stammen och templen. Vår reseledare, Saman, var utmärkt. Han var otroligt kunnig, vänlig och engagerad under hela turen. Det märktes tydligt hur passionerad han var när det gällde att dela med sig av sin kunskap om den lokala religionen, kulturen och traditionerna, samt att ge oss inblick i Long Neck-stammens kultur och historia. Hans entusiasm och kunskap gjorde upplevelsen extra trevlig och minnesvärd. Jag rekommenderar absolut den här turen om du är i Chiang Mai!

Föraren var mycket trevlig och hela resan var pålitlig. Bua Tong-vattenfallet ligger i en skogspark i norra Thailand, och klipporna vid vattenfallet är gråvita med en blåaktig ton, vilket är helt fantastiskt! Vattnet är svalt, och när man klättrar upp kan man interagera nära med naturen!

Thanks for our tour guide, Immy. She is full of the knowledge of the history and temple related. And she is also patient to any of my questions. The temples are very beautiful and walking in this area is let me feel peace. Above all, this is a excellent tour for who wants to know more about history of Chiangmai.

I forgot the name of the guide who worked so hard, I'm sorry. We even attended the evening service together, and they kindly and passionately explained many things while taking a lot of pictures for us. It was truly a meaningful trip. Highly recommended!

Schemat var välorganiserat, han tog väl hand om varje medlem och var mycket hänsynsfull. Dessutom tog han foton av var och en av oss under resan och skickade alla bilder till oss efteråt. Det var en så omtänksam gest. Rekommenderar varmt att resa med honom!

the tour is really relaxing and learnt a lot of Thai food ingredient. Sonya is our cooking class teacher and she is very nice and passionate and very fun. The place was tidy and so pretty and we had lot of fun. for the elephants, the tour guide is so funny and taught a lot of knowledge about elephants and the staffs there are so passionate and take good care of the elephants and the elephants are so cute and naughty.
