Chiang Mai Airport-turer

More than a sunrise tour, this half day was truly meaningful, and our guide James was the highlight! We started by buying food to give dana (alms) at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, passing the statue of the monk who raised funds to build the mountain road. James used to be a monk, so he explained the Buddha's story, the temple murals and the meaning of the pillar decorations. The sunrise was stunning, with the whole city below as James shared each temple's story. Wat Pha Lat is a peaceful hidden gem. Through his connections with the monks, James gave us real insight into monastic life and the meaning behind the nagas, tigers and deities. Our favourite was Wat Umong. We tried local instruments and drinks at a small event and explored the meditation tunnels a king built for a revered monk (with cute bats inside!). It felt like visiting historic Lanna temples with an actual monk by your side. Highly recommended, and James is the best guide!

A waterfall well worth visiting. Since I was the only passenger that day, it felt like I had chartered a private vehicle to the waterfall. The driver was extremely friendly and brought his grandchildren along, making it feel just like going on a fun trip to the waterfall with their family—a very heartwarming experience. The timing of our arrival was just right; right after we finished enjoying the waterfall, it started to rain, adding a refreshing coolness to the return trip. Definitely a well-deserved five-star review, highly recommended.

Jeg likte virkelig turen min for å besøke «Long Neck»-stammen og tempelene. Reiselederen vår, Saman, var utmerket. Han var utrolig kunnskapsrik, vennlig og engasjerende gjennom hele turen. Det var tydelig hvor lidenskapelig opptatt han var av å dele sin kunnskap om den lokale religionen, kulturen og tradisjonene, i tillegg til å gi oss et innblikk i «Long Neck»-stammens kultur og historie. Hans entusiasme og kunnskap gjorde opplevelsen spesielt hyggelig og minneverdig. Jeg vil absolutt anbefale denne turen hvis du er i Chiang Mai!

We had a group size of 8 with people from 3 different countries! Our guide shared some history of Chiang Mai and of the 2 temples we were visiting. Duration was just right and thankful for the transportation to and from hotel!

Thanks for our tour guide, Immy. She is full of the knowledge of the history and temple related. And she is also patient to any of my questions. The temples are very beautiful and walking in this area is let me feel peace. Above all, this is a excellent tour for who wants to know more about history of Chiangmai.

Sjåføren var veldig hyggelig, og hele turen var pålitelig. Sticky Waterfall ligger i en skogspark i Nord-Thailand, og fossens steiner er gråhvite med et blåskjær, noe som er helt fantastisk! Vannet er kjølig, og mens du klatrer opp, får du en intim interaksjon med naturen!

I forgot the name of the guide who worked so hard, I'm sorry. We even attended the evening service together, and they kindly and passionately explained many things while taking a lot of pictures for us. It was truly a meaningful trip. Highly recommended!

the tour is really relaxing and learnt a lot of Thai food ingredient. Sonya is our cooking class teacher and she is very nice and passionate and very fun. The place was tidy and so pretty and we had lot of fun. for the elephants, the tour guide is so funny and taught a lot of knowledge about elephants and the staffs there are so passionate and take good care of the elephants and the elephants are so cute and naughty.

Gruppeturen var helt fantastisk! En spesiell takk til guiden vår, Fluke. Han er tålmodig, omtenksom og hadde en flott holdning hele turen. Tidsplanen var godt organisert, han tok godt vare på hvert enkelt medlem og var veldig hensynsfull. I tillegg tok han bilder av hver og en av oss under turen og sendte alle bildene til oss etterpå. Det var en utrolig omtenksom gest. Anbefaler på det sterkeste å reise med ham!
