Čo robiť v Kiyomizudera Temple

Výlet stál za to, sprievodca Gary bol profesionálny. Kúpila som si jednodňový zájazd cez Klook, keď som minulú zimu prišla do Osaky, a sprievodca ma vopred kontaktoval cez WhatsApp. Tentoraz ma nikto vopred nekontaktoval, čo ma veľmi znepokojilo, ale keď sme prišli včas na dohodnuté miesto, všetko sa začalo veľmi dobre. S manželom a deťmi sme si užili skvelý výlet, obed bol chutný a vychutnávanie zeleného čaju bolo veľmi príjemné. Odporúčam vám rezervovať si tento zájazd, ak navštevujete miesta na itinerári prvýkrát, aby ste sa nemuseli starať o jedlo ani dopravu.

Our tour guide, who could switch between Chinese, Japanese, and English, and also spoke Korean, made sure every group member was taken care of. It was a huge benefit not having to research the history and stories of each attraction ourselves. They offered pre-ordered lunch, which allowed us more time to explore Kiyomizu-dera Temple and its surroundings, and the food was quite good. The itinerary was well-paced for the limited time (however, this tour is not suitable for travelers who prefer to savor sights slowly or spend a lot of time taking photos, as the time allotted for Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine doesn't allow for walking the entire Senbon Torii path!). The tour bus was clean and tidy, and the ride was smooth and steady. I'm prone to motion sickness and usually sleep on buses, and I didn't wake up due to poor driving.

I had so much fun, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish! Since it’s a self-guided tour, there was plenty of room for exploring on our own while still having the flexibility to enjoy the trip at our own pace. Our guide, HaoWen, was also very thoughtful and gave us souvenirs at the end of the trip. Would definitely recommend this tour!

Sprievodca Richard bol nápomocný a pohotový. Prehliadka zahŕňala nádherné výhľady v Amanohashidate. Sedačková lanovka a Sky Cycle boli neskutočným zážitkom v Amanohashidate Viewland. Plavba loďou bola zábavným zážitkom pri kŕmení čajok a drakov v zálive Ine.

Here's an honest and straightforward review of three major attractions in Shiga Prefecture: Shirahige Shrine, Biwako Terrace, and La Collina Omihachiman. 1. Shirahige Shrine Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I left feeling a bit disappointed. The torii gate in the water is located across the road, making it dangerous to cross and difficult to appreciate properly from a distance. The shrine itself doesn't offer much to see, so it's best suited as a quick stop. 2. Biwako Terrace This was definitely the highlight of my trip. The panoramic view of Lake Biwa from the terrace cafe was truly spectacular, and I was most satisfied with being able to relax amidst the expansive scenery. 3. La Collina Omihachiman It was so crowded that it was hard to leisurely soak in the unique atmosphere. The signature dessert, the confectionery, also tends to be a hit or miss in terms of taste. However, the grass-roofed buildings and the garden views were beautiful, making it an excellent spot for taking photos.

Last time, I visited Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto, so this time I went to places I hadn't seen before. It was just before a long holiday, so there weren't many people, and it was wonderfully peaceful and quiet! When you actually see it, it's not so much 'Wow, that's amazing!' but rather beautiful scenery, the path you walk while admiring that scenery, various photos taken at photo spots, and an unexpected seagull zoo feeding (making eye contact with seagulls and hawks). I didn't have high expectations, but it was fun! The only downside is that the travel time is a bit long if you depart from Osaka! However, our guide, MICA, explained many things about Japan so well and took such beautiful photos that I even changed my KakaoTalk profile picture for the first time in a while! 😄

Poloha je výborná, veľmi blízko chrámu Kiyomizu-dera. Personál je veľmi nadšený a milý, mnohí hovoria po čínsky a je možné komunikovať aj po anglicky. V obchode je veľa západných zákazníkov, takže sa nemusíte obávať komunikačných problémov. Kúpila som si lacné kimono, výber bol celkom dobrý, nie taký malý, ako som si myslela, v každom prípade mi to stačilo. Vôbec nie je potrebné rezervovať si štýl vopred, v obchode je na výber príliš veľa štýlov a účesy sú tiež krásne. Najala som si fotografa na cestovateľské fotenie, fotograf bol veľmi profesionálny a originálne fotografie som dostala v ten istý deň. Nemohla som sa dočkať, kým napíšem recenziu. Celkovo to za tú cenu naozaj stojí.

The tour experience is nice. Our tour guide CC introduced the background of attractions and Japanese history on the touring bus in a fun and comprehensive way, so we got to have much free time to explore attractions by ourselves. In addition, she also recommended some great and affordable restaurants to avoid tourist traps. Although going three attractions in a day is a bit tight to view deeply in the attractions, it’s worth for beginner travelers to enjoy the sights and vibes. Moreover, having a designated touring bus saved us lots of energy, husstle and time moving among attractions.
