Thank you Ruly, Putro, and our Ijen guide Eddie for taking such good care of me! This 2D1N trip is highly recommended and perfect for anyone who wants to visit both volcanoes in the minimum amount of time. We had 7 people in our group, so the car wasn't too crowded and the ride was comfortable. Day 1 (Bromo): We didn't have an official guide on this day. The jeep driver simply dropped us off without sharing any details like where to go, what to do, or what time to head back to the jeep. Fortunately, Ruly kept in touch with me via messaging and successfully guided me to the viewpoint, so I didn't experience any trouble. We stayed at the DreamLand Hotel, which was clean, decent, and exactly as pictured. Day 2 (Ijen): The hike is exhausting for those who don't exercise or hike regularly. It's very steep at the beginning up to the volcano rim, and equally steep going down to the crater to see the blue flame. The path is narrow and crowded, so you must be extremely careful. Our guide, Eddie, was fantastic—he showed us an easier path to see the blue flame and personally helped me through the difficult, rocky sections. After the tour, they dropped me off at the port, and Putro kindly helped us with the ferry tickets. there are some extra on-site costs: health certificate IDR100K, drop off to Ketapang Harbor IDR650K, single room surcharge IDR375K (highly recommended for solo female travellers as they don't necessarily arrange same gender roommates for shared options), gear rental e.g walking stick IDR50K each

Náš sprievodca Yanto, ako aj naši vodiči Hendra a Dewa boli fantastickí!! Hovorili fantastickou angličtinou a boli veľmi nadšení, čo urobilo zážitok úžasným. Yanto bol veľmi proaktívny pri pomoci s výstupom na Ijen, pomáhal nám cez náročnejšie terény a dokonca nám našiel modrý oheň, hoci sám nemal plynovú masku, a kúpil nám vyprážaný banán a tauhu isi za vlastné peniaze! Vodiči boli tiež fantastickí, jazdili bezpečne, zastavovali, keď sme potrebovali prestávku na toaletu/obed, a v aute sa vôbec nefajčilo, čo bolo pre mňa obrovské plus. Celkovo fantastický zážitok a miestnym nemôžeme viac poďakovať.

if you think about IJen, you should stop thinking and doing:)! it’s very nice place and view. the blue lava is nog so big but still nice to see. also the hike was heavy but with every strength you can do this. there are 5 checkpoint where you can take a break.

We booked a package with JVTO via Klook for our 3D2N adventure trip. Shoutout to Fredy and Fauzi for always accommodating to us; from entertaining our nonsense/requests and also for always making us break into laughter with their fresh set of jokes. The driver will pick you up at your hotel in a five-seater sedan. In mid-April, the temperature at Ijen Volcano in the early morning is around 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit). You can wear a short-sleeved shirt and a light, warm jacket. The mountain road is steep, and you'll likely sweat a lot during the climb. You can take breaks in stages, depending on your stamina. From the entrance at 1,800 meters (5,905 feet) above sea level, you'll ascend to the summit at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet). There may be an occasional pungent sulfur smell; you can choose whether to rent a gas mask before departing. The sunrise and sea of clouds are incredibly beautiful. However, since the sulfur minerals are owned by an energy company, and workers are employed to mine and extinguish fires, you won't be able to see large areas of blue flame. Nevertheless, the burning sulfur is an unprecedented and stunning sight. We recommend arranging this trip separately from Mount Bromo, allowing for rest before continuing. A two-day/one-night or three-day/two-night trip involves a significant physical load.

I highly, highly recommend this tour! My friends and I came to Indonesia primarily for the volcano tour. After seeing some negative reviews for another option on Klook, we chose this 'Cheap Bromo' tour. Our Chinese-speaking guide, Meixing, spoke excellent Chinese. She picked us up from our Surabaya hotel at 11 PM the night before. After about a two-hour drive, we switched to a jeep. I thought the jeep driver was very skilled; the mountain roads were extremely steep, especially in the dark, and his driving made us feel very safe. The sunrise view from Mount Penanjakan was absolutely stunning, and Mount Bromo was beautiful, perfect for taking many great photos! After the Bromo tour, we went for breakfast. There were many breakfast options, and the restaurant was lovely! Then, from the restaurant, we took a regular car to the hotel where we would rest. My friends and I were so tired that, even though the original plan was to eat before checking in, our guide helped us ask the hotel if we could check in early. The meals were then prepared for takeout, allowing us to get plenty of rest before heading to Ijen Crater! For climbing Ijen Crater, I recommend bringing a wool hat, a jacket, and comfortable non-slip shoes. You'll sweat a lot after a short walk, but it gets very cold and windy near the summit. At Ijen Crater, another guide, Sika, led us up. Sika's English was excellent. The mountain path was very challenging, and he constantly monitored our physical condition and was very patient! The only downside was that the route to see the blue flames was closed during our visit, but we did see the beautiful lake on the mountain. The driver who took us throughout the trip was also very kind and an excellent driver, allowing us to sleep well during the long journeys. My friends and I were heading to Bali afterward, and they dropped us off at the port around 9 AM, having already purchased our ferry tickets, ensuring we ended our trip safely and happily! So, a big thank you to this team! P.S. If you get motion sickness, be sure to bring motion sickness medication!

This volcano and waterfall tour was absolutely worth it. Thank you, Dasi and Nandu, for giving us such pleasant memories. I strongly advise everyone to visit the waterfall, and it's crucial to hire a guide – it's a matter of life and death, so definitely get one!

transport options: Our driver Dosi was very friendly and made our transfer to each location very smooth. itinerary: Prepare for irregular sleeping hours as we needed to wake up at 12am to drive to the location for sunrise. But it was worth it. tour guide: Each attraction had its guide. Shout out to our waterfall guide, Edi. He went above and beyond by constantly helping us take instagrammable photos and videos even though we didn't ask. At the end of the attraction, he even helped us to compile it into a ready to post video and sent us all 100+ photos and videos. attractions: Not for the faint of heart. There were steep hikes involved and was more adventurous than we had expected. Definitely watch some YouTube vlogs to get a sense of the fitness level required. accomodation options: Fluctuating quality. One of them was amazing as it was a business hotel. The other 2 had a good outside view of nature but also had bugs (which probably can't be helped since it's near nature)

Na pozorovanie krátera je potrebné prejsť krátku štrkovú cestu a potom vystúpiť po 240 schodoch, približne 2.0 km. Náročnosť 1 🌟 Vulkan Ijen (Gunung Ijen): Celková dĺžka približne 10 km (kráter + modrý oheň) s prevýšením (400 m + 200 m). Celá trasa je po hlinenej ceste a svahoch, cesta dole k modrému ohňu je tvorená naskladanými kameňmi a predstavuje určité riziko. Náročnosť 5🌟 Krajina: Krásy, ktoré musíte v živote vidieť Poskytnuté vybavenie: Plynová maska + čelovka. Prosím, prineste si teplé oblečenie, teplota na horách je pod 10 stupňov Celzia. Sprievodca: Čínsky hovoriaci sprievodca Afrizal, Indonézan, študent čínštiny. Priateľský a živý.
