There are many guests staying here, and there are also chartered tour buses. The location is good, with many businesses nearby, and the living facilities are quite good. The rooms are fairly clean, and the staff are very friendly. The only drawbacks are that the soundproofing isn't very good, and the sound of water running through the pipes is very loud.

This was my first time staying at a hotel within the park. There were quite a few facilities available, some of which required an additional fee. Overall, the experience was great. After a full day of fun at the park, we could return to the hotel in the afternoon for a short rest before heading back to the park in the evening to catch the amazing performances. Overall, the room is very spacious and clean, but the soundproofing needs to be improved. You can hear the TV from the next room from the head of the bed, and you can also hear the TV from another room from the foot of the bed. I suggest adding soundproofing to the wall where the TV is mounted.

The location is excellent, right next to Chaotian Temple, which is practically the busiest area in Beigang. There are many old shops to browse, see, and eat at. Parking is also free and you can even leave your car until after check-out, which is a huge plus. However, my room shared a main entrance with another room, so when someone rang the doorbell, it would also ring in my room. The lock on my room door was also very simple. It seems like this guesthouse was converted from an apartment. If this bothers you, I recommend booking the Pilgrimage Hotel instead of the Pilgrimage Guesthouse.

The water dispenser in the room was out of order, but we could get water from the restaurant, so it was fine. A reminder to everyone that you can get ice cream and coffee at the restaurant in the evening. Some people might find the location a bit remote, but the highway is right next door, making inter-county travel very convenient, so it really depends on your perspective. Due to space constraints, there aren't many breakfast options, but it's still enough to fill you up. For a motel, it's much better than the choices at McDonald's or typical breakfast shops. The room was spacious enough, the revolving door design was cool, the stone-covered walls were also cool, and the floating toilet was cool too (in room type 222). The garage was large enough and easy to park in; even a hatchback wouldn't hit the ceiling.

Our ride on the Taiwan High Speed Rail from Chiayi to Taipei was an excellent experience from start to finish. The train departed right on time, and the entire journey felt incredibly smooth and efficient.
The seats were clean, comfortable, and had plenty of legroom, making it easy to relax and enjoy the ride. We were especially impressed by how quiet and well-maintained everything was. The large windows gave us a nice view of Taiwan’s scenery as we sped north.
What really stood out was how fast and convenient the trip was—what would normally take hours by car felt quick and stress-free. The staff were also polite and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience.
Overall, it was a very comfortable, reliable, and enjoyable way to travel across Taiwan. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hassle-free journey!

This time, I chartered a car for a day in Taiwan with my children and elderly mother! Our driver, Mr. Wang, picked us up at the hotel right on time and drove us safely from morning till night, covering the long round trip from Taipei to Taichung, including bathroom breaks. For lunch, Mr. Wang recommended an affordable and authentic Taiwanese restaurant, and he was very thoughtful, even giving us donuts along the way, guiding us to various places, and parking the car conveniently close. Thanks to him, both my children and mother said they had a wonderful time and were very satisfied! He truly did an excellent job with the long journey! He also explained various places to us, and I think it would be fantastic if Mr. Wang could drive us again if we visit Taiwan in the future!

Bol to úžasný zážitok užiť si taliansku atmosféru v Macau. Zvyčajne je to zdieľaná loď, ale keďže sme v rade stáli len ja a moja manželka, dovolili nám obom použiť jednu loď.
