The restaurant staff were outstanding and friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout my stay. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff was quite different. They came across as cold and lacked the level of courtesy and hospitality I would expect. I stayed in a street-view room, which was relatively quiet since it did not face the main street. However, the blackout curtain attachments were broken, preventing the curtains from fully closing. As a result, significant light entered the room from sunrise onward. This was particularly frustrating while trying to adjust to jet lag, as it made it difficult to get adequate rest.

The hotel room was good, comfortable and clean but very dark. The location was in an area with upscale shops and restaurants. We had hoped for a more casual neighborhood and wandered further away to enjoy a meal. Unfortunately, I left my Amazon Kindle on the bed when we left. I tried numerous time to contact the hotel through email, chat, and telephone and had hoped that my messages would be acknowledged and arrangements would have been made to return my device. I have not been able to speak with a live person and, I’m afraid my kindle is now gone forever. Very disappointing.
