Hotel Lis - Baixa

Hotel is awesome. Great location easy to walk everywhere highly recommend hotel

We were surprised and happy to see that this hotel is just steps away from the middle of everything in Lisbon. The hotel is clean, the front desk staff is friendly and helpful (and has excellent English skills - not surprising in Lisbon, but, still nice). The Hotel's restaurants (there are two!) are nice and well-stocked with just about any wine you might want. The room would have been perfect for a couple, but, it was a bit awkward for my 79-year old Mother and I (we stayed a few nights after a cruise dropped us in Lisbon) only because the bathroom area, including the shower, were only separated from the bedroom area by a piece of frosted glass -- so, when Mom showered, and stepped anywhere near the glass, I had to remember to keep my eyes focused sharply on my iPad (or closed) to avoid...well...blindness? =) This would have been just fine if it was me and my spouse, however, in this situation, it was a bit awkward. Otherwise, however, we were very pleased with this hotel!

Conveniently located near plenty of restaurants and activities.

Personnel très gentil et courtois. Endroit très propre. Air climatisée efficace. Par contre, pas de bac à récupération, ni dans la chambre, ni dans l’hôtel. Je recommande l’hôtel.

A fantastic location, with wonderful staff! Hotel lis Baixa is just steps away from Rossio Square and Station, many lovely restaurants and shops, and the train. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with all of the necessary amenities. All of the concierge staff were friendly and helpful whenever we needed advice. In addition, the Copenhagen Coffee Lab is only a few steps away. They serve the most delicious cinnamon buns and coffee!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Lis - Baixa. The location was very central while also being very quiet at night. Our room was clean and well maintained by housekeeping. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations for restaurants, tours, and local transportation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here for any friends or family travelling to Lisbon.

Great location, in the middle of evening bustle but quiet during sleep hours. Staff incredibly helpful and all speak English. Attached restaurant has amazing meals, including vegetarian options and a hearty buffet breakfast. Great place!
