When visiting Penghu, a trip to Jibei Island is a must, especially for families with children. The boat ride is only 20 minutes, so you won't get seasick. We chose the 10:30 AM departure and 4:00 PM return. Since this tour only offers fixed times, it felt a bit long for us as we didn't participate in any water activities, but it was still very worthwhile!

This was such a unique experience! Loved it! I would highly recommend this as an activity to do one evening!

Everything was very pleasant. Although we originally booked for 7:40 PM, they called us in advance to ask if we wanted to move the time up because there weren't enough people. We agreed, and actually, watching the sunset at 6:30 PM was perfect. We also enjoyed a relaxing evening of squid fishing. The crew members were all very polite and always smiling. My children were more interested in the video games, but at least it offered another option. The boat was really new, beautiful, and very clean. The squid noodles had just the right amount of salt and were delicious, and there were also jelly and brown sugar cakes. All the passengers were quite well-behaved and not noisy, creating a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, which we were very lucky to experience. Also, each fishing rod was prepared for us, and they looked very neat, which was nice. Even though no one on the boat caught any squid, the sea breeze was very pleasant, and it wasn't too hot. With the gentle sunset, I think this experience was truly wonderful.

Ora de întâlnire a fost cu 20 de minute înainte de plecare, programată la 7:40, dar am plecat de fapt la 8:00... pentru că așteptam un grup de turiști... Pe vas era un ghid care ne-a însoțit, de exemplu, am stabilit o oră pentru a ne ghida, iar serviciul a fost destul de bun. Totuși, la întoarcere, nu au fost prezentate insulele mici pe lângă care am trecut!? Am stat 1,5 ore pe Dongjiyu și 3 ore pe Qimei (inclusiv prânzul pe cont propriu), timp mai mult decât suficient! Foarte bine – întreaga excursie de o zi de la o insulă la alta nu a fost scumpă, o recomand! 👍

The blue sky and white clouds paired with the emerald green water make for a picture-perfect paradise! The guided tour helped us learn more about the lighthouse's history, making it a worthwhile visit. **Water Activities Were Super Fun** Snorkeling, SUP, banana boat, and other activities were all included. The instructors were professional and humorous, and safety measures were well in place. The water was crystal clear, and we saw so many tropical fish; the underwater scenery was truly stunning! We had an absolute blast with the water activities and it was completely worth the trip. **High Degree of Freedom on the Island** After renting a scooter, we could leisurely explore Qibei Island, enjoying the white sand beaches, fishing village charm, and seafood snacks at our own pace. The feeling of not being rushed was fantastic. Riding the scooter on the beach at sunset with the breeze was incredibly romantic! Penghu Aquarium is definitely worth a visit; I highly recommend the diver feeding show, it's spectacular. It's perfect for families to take photos and see marine life. As an indoor attraction with air conditioning, you don't have to worry about sun exposure, making it a nice and comfortable outing. The kids loved it and had a great time. It was really cool to even see giant groupers.

On Qimei Island, we chose to take the bus. It was a spacious, air-conditioned coach, which was very comfortable. We had 15-30 minutes at each scenic spot, which was plenty of time to take photos, and the tour was very efficient. The bus driver also acted as a tour guide, providing commentary while driving. Please note that this tour is not designed for foreigners and commentary is only provided in Chinese. As a Japanese speaker with only enough Chinese to understand meeting times, I was still able to participate in the tour without any issues. Seating on the ferry is open, and when traveling between islands, it's first-come, first-served again. Arriving earlier than the designated meeting time allows you to choose your preferred seat.
