This time the room was really nice, very clean, and it was my first time staying on such a high floor 😊 I really enjoyed the view and the room type. Hopefully next time you can arrange a similar floor and room type for me again. The only small issue was the hair dryer — it seems quite old and sometimes not working properly. It would be great if the hotel could consider upgrading it. Overall, still had a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

this place was awesome! love the staff here, theyre so welcoming, friendly and helpful. breakfast selection quite okay. the best part is the room came w the night park admission + hotspring ❤️ cleanliness: 8/10 hotel location: near to the town 8/10

Didn’t expect it to be such a luxurious stay. The staff were all very nice and patient. There were complimentary meals served in the late afternoon and even supper, which was a pleasant surprise. Not sure if it was due to the room I booked. This is the first hotel I’ve given a full 5 stars—very satisfied with my pickiness haha.

It was generally a pleasant stay. Rejuvenating thermal hotspring water. Love the fish spa and Crystal Cave. Meditation Cave is pretty amazing. Nature walk is quite wild. Steambath is great too. Had a memorable customised fine-dining dinner at Jeff’s Cellar. Alas, we did not have time to go earlier to have a drink at The Bar prior to dinner. The Bar certainly looks too inviting to miss. Love our breakfast time at the gazebo at Pomelo cafe. Unfortunately, the food there is a hit-and-miss. I still find it hard to believe that a five star hotel would serve burnt toast and runny scrambled eggs to me! Luckily the shredded chicken hor fun soup saved the meal. Cafe manager, Balan is a gem. Always with a smile and so enthusiastic. We also ordered Afternoon Tea at On The Rocks. Isaac, the waiter, there was very friendly. View was great. The pastries, however, was just so so… for RM150 per pax… it left much to be desired. Also, complimentary airport transfer is not available. Unbelievable.

I had a great stay at this property. It is located meters away from the main attractions in Old Town. Now that can be a positive and negative side as the old town after 19.00 is dead and finding even a basic dinner is challange. The staff was reasonably professional and helpful, no complaints there. They provide free water and there is also a restaurant on the premises with a great view. The only frustrating bit was that the Wifi was slow and you have to log in every time you disconnect it. Recomend it if staying in Ipoh

La început am ezitat să rezerv la Excelsior după ce am citit recenziile. Dar locația este cu adevărat fantastică. Am mers pe jos până la Gerbang Malam, Orașul Vechi Ipoh și Ipoh Parade. Toate locurile populare cu dim sum, pui/germeni de fasole, YTF etc. sunt chiar în jurul hotelului. Acest hotel „vechi” are camere mai mari (22 mp) în comparație cu altele. Hotelul a fost renovat și este atât de plăcut și confortabil. Ne-a plăcut și micul dejun. De asemenea, personalul este foarte amabil. Nu regret că am stat la Excelsior timp de 4 nopți. Recomandat 💕

Alhamdulillah, the service was excellent from check-in to check-out. The staff were friendly, service was fast, and the breakfast food was delicious with many options. My decision to upgrade the room was also very worthwhile. Thank you! 😍

De obicei îmi place să stau la acest hotel. Totul este bine având în vedere prețul, doar că ar fi nevoie de mici îmbunătățiri la întreținere.

Pools under renovation/ cleaning during my visit, Aircond was terrible, i was unable to sleep well, i set too lowest temperature , still not exceeded my favourable temperatures . the room itsels is fine
