Hotel a Ipoh

this place was awesome! love the staff here, theyre so welcoming, friendly and helpful. breakfast selection quite okay. the best part is the room came w the night park admission + hotspring ❤️ cleanliness: 8/10 hotel location: near to the town 8/10

Questa volta la camera era davvero bella, molto pulita, ed è stata la mia prima volta a soggiornare a un piano così alto 😊 Ho apprezzato molto la vista e la tipologia di camera. Spero che la prossima volta possiate assegnarmi di nuovo un piano e una tipologia di camera simili. L'unico piccolo problema è stato l'asciugacapelli: sembra piuttosto vecchio e a volte non funziona correttamente. Sarebbe fantastico se l'hotel potesse considerare di aggiornarlo. Nel complesso, ho comunque trascorso un soggiorno molto piacevole. Grazie!

Didn’t expect it to be such a luxurious stay. The staff were all very nice and patient. There were complimentary meals served in the late afternoon and even supper, which was a pleasant surprise. Not sure if it was due to the room I booked. This is the first hotel I’ve given a full 5 stars—very satisfied with my pickiness haha.

It was generally a pleasant stay. Rejuvenating thermal hotspring water. Love the fish spa and Crystal Cave. Meditation Cave is pretty amazing. Nature walk is quite wild. Steambath is great too. Had a memorable customised fine-dining dinner at Jeff’s Cellar. Alas, we did not have time to go earlier to have a drink at The Bar prior to dinner. The Bar certainly looks too inviting to miss. Love our breakfast time at the gazebo at Pomelo cafe. Unfortunately, the food there is a hit-and-miss. I still find it hard to believe that a five star hotel would serve burnt toast and runny scrambled eggs to me! Luckily the shredded chicken hor fun soup saved the meal. Cafe manager, Balan is a gem. Always with a smile and so enthusiastic. We also ordered Afternoon Tea at On The Rocks. Isaac, the waiter, there was very friendly. View was great. The pastries, however, was just so so… for RM150 per pax… it left much to be desired. Also, complimentary airport transfer is not available. Unbelievable.

The hotel is strategically located near Concubine Lane, KTM train station & old town Ipoh with many eateries and restaurants. The lobby is sleek, modern & decorated beautifully facing the Kinta River. Every level has different decorations at the lift lobby which bring up the esthetics of the whole hotel. The security guards are friendly, efficient & helpful. We really had a very pleasant stay in the hotel. Highly recommended 👍!

All'inizio ho esitato a prenotare l'Excelsior dopo aver letto le recensioni. Ma la posizione è davvero fantastica. Abbiamo raggiunto a piedi Gerbang Malam, Ipoh Old Town e Ipoh Parade. Tutti i famosi dim sum, pollo/germogli di soia, YTF, ecc. sono proprio intorno all'hotel. Questo hotel "vecchio" ha camere più grandi (22 mq) rispetto ad altri. L'hotel è stato ristrutturato ed è così piacevole e confortevole. Abbiamo apprezzato anche la colazione. Inoltre, il personale è molto cortese. Non mi pento di aver soggiornato all'Excelsior per 4 notti. Consigliato 💕

Di solito mi piace soggiornare in questo hotel. Tutto è buono considerando il prezzo, solo un po' da migliorare per quanto riguarda la manutenzione.

Nice and Spacious Room. (King Suite) Location wise is not convenient, need to travel by Grab (Inexpensive).
