When visiting Penghu, a trip to Jibei Island is a must, especially for families with children. The boat ride is only 20 minutes, so you won't get seasick. We chose the 10:30 AM departure and 4:00 PM return. Since this tour only offers fixed times, it felt a bit long for us as we didn't participate in any water activities, but it was still very worthwhile!

This was such a unique experience! Loved it! I would highly recommend this as an activity to do one evening!

Everything was very pleasant. Although we originally booked for 7:40 PM, they called us in advance to ask if we wanted to move the time up because there weren't enough people. We agreed, and actually, watching the sunset at 6:30 PM was perfect. We also enjoyed a relaxing evening of squid fishing. The crew members were all very polite and always smiling. My children were more interested in the video games, but at least it offered another option. The boat was really new, beautiful, and very clean. The squid noodles had just the right amount of salt and were delicious, and there were also jelly and brown sugar cakes. All the passengers were quite well-behaved and not noisy, creating a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, which we were very lucky to experience. Also, each fishing rod was prepared for us, and they looked very neat, which was nice. Even though no one on the boat caught any squid, the sea breeze was very pleasant, and it wasn't too hot. With the gentle sunset, I think this experience was truly wonderful.

The meeting time was 20 minutes before departure, scheduled for 7:40, but we actually departed at 8:00... because we were waiting for a group of tourists. There was a guide on the boat who walked with us, for example, we agreed on a time to follow her for the tour, and the service was quite good. However, on the return cruise, there was no introduction to the small islands we passed by!? We stayed on Dongji Island for 1.5 hours and Qimei for 3 hours (including self-arranged lunch), which was plenty of time! It was great~ The whole island-hopping day trip wasn't expensive either, highly recommended! 👍

Friends who get seasick are advised to take medication in advance, but the overall journey was quite comfortable. Upon arrival at Qibei Island, the scooter rental process was super smooth, the scooters were in good condition, and had plenty of fuel. Getting around the island by scooter was really convenient! Mudouyu Lighthouse is very unique The lighthouse itself is beautiful, and the surrounding sea view is endless. The blue sky and white clouds paired with the emerald green sea make for a paradise-like photo opportunity! The guided tour helped us understand the history of the lighthouse better, making it a worthwhile visit. Water activities were super fun Snorkeling, SUP, banana boat, and other activities were all included. The instructors were professional and humorous, and safety measures were in place. The water was crystal clear, and we saw so many tropical fish; the underwater scenery was truly stunning! We had an absolute blast playing in the water, making the trip completely worthwhile. High degree of freedom on the island After renting a scooter, you can explore Qibei Island at your own pace, enjoying the white sand beaches, fishing village charm, and seafood snacks without rushing. That feeling of not being rushed was truly wonderful. Riding a scooter on the beach at sunset with the wind blowing was incredibly romantic! Overall, this itinerary offers excellent value for money, including ferry tickets, scooter rental, water activities, and the lighthouse tour. It covers all the main highlights in one go, so you don't have to run around making separate arrangements. The service quality and arrangements were very professional. I chose the bus on Qimei Island. It was a spacious, air-conditioned large bus, which was very comfortable. The stay at each tourist spot was 15-30 minutes, which was sufficient time. I was able to take photos, and it was efficient. The bus driver spoke like a tour guide while driving. This tour is not for foreigners and is only guided in Chinese. I am Japanese and can only understand enough Chinese to catch the meeting time, but I was able to participate in the tour without any problems. Seating on the boat is unreserved. When moving from island to island, you will be seated again on a first-come, first-served basis. By arriving earlier than the meeting time, you can sit wherever you like.

Penghu Aquarium is definitely worth a visit; I highly recommend the diver feeding show, it's spectacular. It's perfect for families to take photos and see marine life. As an indoor attraction with air conditioning, you don't have to worry about sun exposure, making it a nice and comfortable outing. The kids loved it and had a great time. It was really cool to even see giant groupers.
