Had a great half-day tour in Balik Pulau! Our guide CC was super attentive and very well-versed in heritage. He started by introducing us to bedak sejuk (cooling powder), a centuries old Penang skincare tradition-such a unique cultural gem! We then enjoyed delicious Fried Flat Noodles (Char Hor Fun) at a local spot in Balik Pulau. Although the Belacan factory was closed, CC still took the time to explain the entire belacan-making process to us in detail. He also shared fascinating insights at the Nutmeg Factory, the Container Art Festival, and capped it all off with a delicious durian tasting. His explanation of the Malay Kampong house's design and functionality was a real highlight. Highly recommend CC!

Entopia, con sus exposiciones bellamente curadas, modernas y bien mantenidas, es única y definitivamente una experiencia fresca en comparación con los antiguos museos tradicionales de mariposas. Incluso hay una cafetería bastante agradable para sentarse y recargar energías con comida y bebidas a precios razonables. Mi familia quedó tan impresionada que, al salir del lugar, aprendimos a apreciar no solo las mariposas, sino también el reino de los insectos mucho más que antes. El personal es informativo y amable. ¡Esta es definitivamente una atracción imperdible si estás en Batu Ferringhi!

We had a great experience at TOP Penang. Tickets were easy to book online via Klook, and collecting them on site was straightforward. The attractions were manageable to cover within a good amount of time, so the visit felt relaxed and enjoyable. One of the highlights was being there to catch the sunset, which made the experience even more special. Having dinner at Top View afterwards completed the day perfectly and made it a memorable visit.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, and while the area near the cable car station was crowded, the park itself was noticeably less so. It was a rare opportunity for a forest bath, and the environment was very well preserved. The scenery was incredibly beautiful, and the treetop walk and skywalk offered great photo opportunities. As mentioned in other reviews, the network coverage nearby was very poor, and there was no network at all inside the park, so it's essential to prepare an offline QR code in advance. We didn't see any monkeys or squirrels in the park that day, and staff suggested they are easier to spot in the morning. However, we were lucky enough to encounter them all outside the park! Be aware that there are a lot of mosquitoes and insects inside the park; even after applying repellent, we were still a 'crazy buffet' for them, so be prepared. After exploring, there was a free shuttle bus back to the cable car station, which was a great arrangement.

The River Cruise was fantastic and very well organized. The Guide, as well as, the lady at the ticketing desk were very polite and helpful. The guide was really a fun guy, who made the 90 mins cruise very enjoyable with his jokes and light heartedness. He takes you around the river, until it reaches the ocean and on the way (and return) you catch a fish, try to catch a crab, pluck a Mangrove Apple, learn about the fisherman boat, fishing boats etc. and so on. The only thing that you may not like is that the river itself was a bit dirty and you could see the amount of garbage people throw into that beautiful river. Towards end of cruise, the guide will be picking up quite a bit of garbage which is a standard practice in every cruise. Also the water seemed dirty and I just hope that the Government and people there, continue to take efforts to make it clean.

The aquarium soo niceeeee and beautiful. there are feeding shows to the fishes and stingrays at 2pm, 2.20pm and 2.40pm. Really worth it.

Anak perempuan saya sangat menyukainya. Dia seronok mengambil gambar & ketawa terbahak-bahak selepas melihat pemandangan yang menakjubkan. Malangnya, harga tiket tidak mempunyai ruangan khas untuk OKU, jadi kami terpaksa membeli tiket pada harga biasa & tidak boleh dikembalikan. Kami membeli tiket melalui Klook.

We were so engaged in all of the tech stands there that I forgot to take the photos )) This museum works best for older children (10+), in my opinion. Definitely worth a visit, especially if combined with other attractions in Komtar

We enjoyed our guided tour with Rana who is knowledgeable about fruit trees he introduced to us and we enjoyed eating the different fruits besides the juice and fruits package we bought via Klook. Overall a fun tour but beware can be very hot and mosquitoes too. Also you can request the ticketing office to help book taxi to leave the place as we are near to closing time at 5:15 pm.
