Excursão Guiada de Meio Dia a Penang Kek Lok Si e Penang Hill

It was an extraordinary experience with uncomplicated communication with the tour guide regarding pickup. The areas visited (Penang Hill with the funicular railway and the Kek Lok Si Temple) were impressive. Especially around the New Year's festival, the temple was decorated with many lanterns. There is so much to discover and see, you could easily spend a whole day there. It was simply great! On the way back, you can also be dropped off at a hawker center for lunch instead of going back to the hotel hungry.

It was a truly great experience. The guide was incredibly helpful and shared all the background details of the temple and its culture. We were amazed by the statues, and it was a very interactive session with the guide.

We were a group of three arriving on a cruise ship and only had a few hours in Penang. Our tour guide, William, was wonderful. He picked us up in his car at the port, took us to the Kek Lok Si temple, and guided us to the best photo spots and the most interesting sites. He spoke good English and was very helpful. He parked at the very top so we didn't have to walk up in the heat. Then he drove us down to every level and also gave us some free time to explore. After the temple, he drove us to Penang Hill. It looked like it was about to rain, so William customized the schedule to show us as much as possible in the short time. The line for the Penang Hill funicular was extremely long; if we were in a regular line, it probably would have taken us an hour, but the tour included fast pass tickets, which was wonderful! William guided us ahead of the line, showed us where to sit for the best views, and walked with us to all the highlights on the hill. It was really a perfect tour and good value for the money. Highly recommend!

William was a great tour guide and was very well versed in the history of Penang Hills and the temple. He also waited for us while we went to the rainforest at Penang Hills. Overall a very positive experience!

The guide was able to plan the itinerary well to avoid crowds. He was helpful in taking photos and friendly and patient in explaining the sites. He recommended local cuisine, and because we were eating vegetarian, he even dropped us off at a vegetarian stall near our hotel.

Last minute booking & organiser, William checked with me if it was okay to go in the afternoon instead of the morning before confirming the booking. It became a private tour for us & we fully utilized the 4 hours. Mother Nature gave us the right weather to participate in the tour! We loved it…

Kek Lok Si temple was very big and not so crowded. But Penang hill was very crowded and needed to wait long for the ride up and down. May be good to chooose a weekday for this tour. It’s quite cooling up on the hill and will be better to bring a light jacket. The scenery was great and we took many photo.

Penang Hill is a must-visit for solo travelers like me. And the nearby attraction, Kek Lok Si Temple, is definitely worth exploring, especially with the guidance of the beautiful Serene 😍😍🤩, which was a huge advantage. She's very friendly and helpful, especially when you need to take pictures. Two thumbs up for you, Serene, and a 6-star rating for everything. Secara keseluruhan, tur ini sangat bagus dengan pemandu yang berpengetahuan luas yang sangat membantu dan menemani kami sepanjang perjalanan.
