Coisas para fazer em WOW Porto - The Cultural District

This popular bookstore requires reservations. It was very well-managed, and I was able to enter smoothly. As it's said to be the inspiration for the Harry Potter image, the magnificent scenery was truly breathtaking, and I found myself gazing in awe.

We enjoyed the tour with a variety of wine tastings. Our tour guide, Thomas, explained the history, economy, and industry of Porto. It was very insightful. Also, our driver Carlos drove very gently, making the long journey comfortable. The food was good, and the only thing I would like to mention is the quality of the coffee. I didn't drink the coffee after a small taste, and I noticed other participants didn't finish theirs either. Overall, it was a good experience and worth joining the tour.

The Douro River offers various types of tours. For those with limited time and budget, this one-hour cruise is a good option. There is no commentary on the attractions (bridges) on board, so it doesn't include a guide. For the meeting point, we followed the link to the second floor of the riverside shopping area, but it turned out to be the boat company's counter with a sun umbrella by the river. The scenery was beautiful and did not disappoint; it's still one of the activities you should plan when visiting Porto.

This was the first cathedral I saw in Portugal, and it was absolutely wonderful! It rained in the morning, so the view was a bit cloudy at first, which was a shame, but after a while, the weather cleared up and it was cool, so the view from the observation deck was truly the best, haha. The bell sounds were also magnificent, and when I entered around 10:30 AM in late August, there was a moderate number of people, which was nice :) For reference, the cathedral is located uphill, so I recommend taking a tram or bus up to São Bento Station and then coming here, haha.

It was really a cool experience. I don't know if it was clearly communicated. The church is free to enter. You only need ticket for the museums/exibitions and the tower. The collection for musuems and exibitions is pretty extensive, I'd suggest to give it at least 1 hour (they close at 6pm during my time of visit). The stairs to the top is not as bad as I expected. Amazing view from the top! You can see the Cathedral and the Douro river and so many other landmarks!

Very interesting tour and an excellent wine tasting. Lots of interesting information in the museum. A must for wine lovers.
