Passeios por Cat Ba Island

Lovely day trip. A long day due to travel time there and back, but it was worth it. Nice guide, transport well-arranged and comfortable. The boat was great with lunch, kayaking, swimming, and beautiful surroundings. The golf cart ride across the island to the cave and museum was also very enjoyable. It was pleasant that it was small-scale and not mega-touristy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly Recommended! We had an amazing experience with Serenity Grand Cruise in Lan Ha Bay! A special shoutout to our tour guide, Tuna, who was always attentive, friendly, and informative throughout the entire trip. We truly appreciated how well he looked after everyone and made the tour even more enjoyable. The cruise itself was top-notch. Lan Ha Bay was absolutely stunning, and we loved that there were fewer tourists and a more peaceful atmosphere. The two swimming pools were a bonus, and the buffet was incredibly delicious, with so much variety to choose from. We also enjoyed the sunset party with canapés, which was such a lovely touch. There was so much included in the tour: bike riding or a fish spa in the village, kayaking, swimming, and plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful views. Everything was well organised and genuinely worth the travel and money. Overall, we had an amazing experience. If you’re visiting Lan Ha Bay, we highly recommend Serenity Grand Cruise!

For those of you who are considering a Lan Ha Bay tour, I'd like to share some helpful information! Our itinerary was: hotel pickup -> transfer to the pier -> cruise boarding -> kayaking/swimming -> lunch -> visit to Viet Hai village (doctor fish) -> return to the pier -> hotel drop-off. (Once you board the cruise, an English-speaking guide will explain the itinerary.) For those staying on Cat Ba Island, this is a great way to spend a productive half-day at a low cost. 1) Most of the guests are Vietnamese, but the English-speaking guide makes sure that no one feels left out. 2) Compared to other cruises, the quality is very good, and there's less boat vibration, making it more comfortable. 3) Lunch is buffet-style, and the quality is surprisingly good. 4) There's absolutely no pressure for tips or shopping, so you can just relax and enjoy your day~ Here are a few tips, haha: - It's not primarily for water activities, and the water isn't clear, so snorkeling is practically impossible. It's more for just getting in the water, haha. - Since it's mostly Vietnamese guests, it might feel a bit unfamiliar (frequent smoking on deck, chaotic meal times lol). - It's a different experience from tours arranged by Koreans, which are usually well-developed for tourism, but it's still a decent way to spend a day!

The cruise was very relaxing, the food was very very good. It was flavourful and the portion sizes were perfect. The crew was top notch (shoutout to Lam and Duy) on Skyway and our tour guide Thai was awesome! The itinerary was packed but it never felt rushed. The staff organised with my friends to have a birthday cake for me after dinner (which we had our spring rolls that we made ourselves cooked by the chef)! If another chance arises, we will definitely be booking with Skyway Cruise again! value for money: 5/5 itinerary: 5/5 service: 5/5

This was a wonderful experience! We stayed one night on a boat in Ha Long Bay and the second night in a hotel on Cat Ba Island. Everything about this tour was great, and we particularly appreciated the professionalism of the staff and guides who supported the entire experience. Our top favorite was visiting the National Park on Cat Ba Island, and we deeply appreciated meeting our park guide, Mr. Binh, who was great. We highly recommend this tour!

Total of 26 people on the tour. I was the only Korean person. It was a 3-story, high-end cruise ship with a small pool inside, and simple food was provided. You could see several islands, and the sunset was beautiful. We had a short time to enjoy swimming and canoeing. We also visited a local village, and it was a great value-for-money tour. One minor disappointment was that the canoe experience was advertised as included in the tour price, but there was an additional charge (150,000-200,000 VND).
